John walks to the end of the street only to turn back and walk to the cemetery. Not knowing why but feeling a strong pull to go back he follows.
He continued walking not bothering to stop and apologize after bumping into some civilians. Making it to the entrance he looked for anything that might examine why he was here. Looking he succeeds in finding a figure by Sherlock's grave, he stared intently willing the figure to turn around
Turn around turn around turn around turn around turn around and with one final say the figure turned around.
John was met with the face of Sherlock Holmes. It would've been wondrous to see the man that had set so far apart from being human, it would've great of John hadn't thought it was one of illusions.
He walked to the illusion wishing it would go because it was him, it wasn't Sherlock.
They stood side by side, Sherlock staring at John and John staring at Sherlock's headstone.
"My illusions usual appear next to me, this is new" says John with casualty "John..." the illusion whispers. John turns because the voice it sounds so real, it's so raw full of too many emotions so un-sherlock.
John chose to ignore it.
"I'm going back to the flat, you can follow me if you want" he says hoping it would...he was lonely, he needed someone or something to talk to even if......even if it was imaginary.
They walked back to baker street. They made it inside the flat with no disturbance. "I hope you don't mind the mess I haven't had time to clean" he says as though he was talking to someone real. "John...I....what have I done" says the 'illusion' "no, stop. It's not your Sherlock, it's mine. I figured it out" John says with a sad smile
What came next was unexpected.
Sherlock hugged John.
