Aaron and Marcus woke up early for practice. The three of us were still back in the apartment from our late night talk. The memories of us when we were younger were always so clear in my mind. Especially because of the amazing guys I hang around. I really wanted to meet this Mike guy now.

Ryan, Joe and I had a suite to ourselves, thanks to Aaron and Marcus.

"I really should feel like I need to start playing baseball again." I said as we sat down to watch the game.

"Why don't you? You've played it almost your whole life." Ryan said.

"I guess I'm scared that I might injure myself again."

"Look at Marcus and tell me that doesn't give you inspiration to get back into it." Joe said.

"Okay there, tell me that again when you're in the NFL." I said and Ryan was dying of laughter.

"Whatever." Joe said rolling his eyes and went back to watching the game again. I laughed.

I kinda wish Marcus was there when I said that about Joe, he would've been laughing so much too.

Drew hadn't been doing so well in the beginning of the game. Gibby already brought in a reliever and it was only the top of the 4th.

"This is going to be a long game." I sighed, getting up to get food that they supplied for us in the suite.

Aaron Loup was pitching, from the stats I've read, he hasn't been doing so well either.

Jays were leading, but only by a run.

"C'mon Aaron." I whispered to myself.

He ended up walking Beltran. There were two men on, 1 out and it was the 6th inning.

Gibby brought out Brett to get the two outs.

Brett struck out the first one up to bat.

"Can you guys get off your phones?" I said as Brett was pitching on the 1-2 count.

"Oh god please don't be a home run." The ball flew to left field. Luckily Ben was there.

Brett was so hyped when Ben caught the ball.

The rest of the game went super slower. No one scored a run. Everyone either got a base hit, pop up or ground out.

The Jays ended up winning 4-3.

We met up with the team in the clubhouse.

"You better sweep tomorrow." I said walking into the clubhouse.

I immediately looked at David, knowing he is starting tomorrow. He put his hands up in defence and started walking towards his cubby.

"Really though, if you guys sweep he Yankees tomorrow, dinner is on me." I said.

"Woah, no way!" Marcus shouted.

"What are you talking about?"

"There is no way in hell I'm letting you pay for dinner for us. That will cost you a fortune! I'll let you if you let me pay half."

The room was quiet for a while, "Fine." I sighed.

As I was walking towards the door, something popped into my head. "That also means you guys have to be World Series Champs." I laughed.

I walked back to the apartment and I was so happy I did because I finally got time to myself without boys.

I thought about a lot. Everyone was telling me I should get back into baseball but I really wanted to go somewhere with my MBA degree.
