Chapter 28, Surprise.

*Niall pov*

Today was the day of Grace's dress fitting. Natalie just hit one month old a week ago. Time seems to fly when you have children. For the wedding only being about 2 weeks away we wanted to wait to get Nat's dress, even though it's a short amount of time we don't wanna get a dress just in case she grows a little. She's still only 11 pounds, she's a tiny baby!

When we got to the dress shop Grace ran out of the car excited. Eleanor, Danielle, and Perrie were gonna be here to help her get her dress so I decided to go to one of the guys house so we can get together and rehearse since it's been a few months. We put our traveling around on a break for awhile because Liam and Danielle were having some issues and Grace and I just had the baby. The only thing we've really been doing is recording a new album and a few interviews but we really aren't busy anymore.

I got out and picked up Natalie and walked in the store. "Grace I'm going to the boys, I'm dropping Nat at my mums house." She looked up at me and showed me her perfectly white teeth. "Okay Nialler" she said smiling wide. I gave her purse to her and kissed her, right after she wrapped her arms around me while resting her head down on my chest. "Thank you for everything Niall, I love you."

When I walked out of the shop I put Natalie back in her car seat and bucked both straps. She was so tiny it wasn't even funny. She confusingly looked around and let out a wail. I put my hand my her tiny cheeks and rubbed them. "Shh baby girl there's no need to cry." Her little hands made her way up to mine. She held my finger until she started sucking on it. She looked up at me while she still had my finger in her mouth. Her little eye lashes hit her cheeks every time she blinked, her gray eyes stared up at me. We stayed this way for a minute until her eyes started to get heavy, every time she blinked her eyes would stay closed longer and longer each time until finally she fell asleep.

I slowly removed my finger from her mouth and shut the car door quietly. When I got in the front of the car you could hear her little snores from the back. I sat there for a minute and just listened. Wow I'm only 19 and I have a baby I thought to myself. I quit thinking about that and started the car. I started driving down the street for some reason 19 kept bouncing around in my room. Why can't I stop thinking about it? Then another thought came into my head.. I'm 19 and I'm getting married. Why.

When I arrived at my mums house I sat in the drive way "19, 19, 19,19" Went through my head. I got out trying not to think about it and pulled out Nat's car seat. I walked up to the big door I used to open when I was a little boy. I knocked lightly and stepped in.

"Niall dear!!!!" She yelled from the kitchen, she came running in and hugged me. I put down Natalie's car seat and hugged her back. "It's nice to see you mum" I say quietly. She let go and bent down to Nat.

"Hey baby cakes!" She said in light Irish accent while playing with her toes. She was still asleep but my mum didn't care. "She's still so tiny dear!" She said standing up. I gave her a slight smile and looked down the hall.

"How's your father?" She asked looking down seriously.

"He's fine mum." I say still looking down the hall. She looks up at me but I don't look back. "Niall I know you miss him." she says staring at me.

"No I don't." I say strictly not making eye contact.

"You haven't seen him in years Hun, at least call him."

"NO I WON'T OKAY HE HURT US MUM HE HURT US, HE LEFT RIGHT BEFORE I WENT TO KINDERGARTEN I HAD NO DAD IT WASN'T OKAY." I yelled as I started to cry. My mom hugged me and rubbed my back. "there there dear don't worry." Tears streamed down my face, My face was red. I want no contact with my Dad, he left us.. and what for? Another women. I will never forgive him, my mom might say he's over him but deep inside she loves him and wants him back.
