~Louis' POV~

I couldn't believe how happy I was about meeting Harry. He was just so funny, and kind, and sweet, and smart, and my god-the definition of perfect. Sure, I'd known him for quite a long time now and only now had I had the courage to speak up, but that's besides the point. All my fears of him rejecting me were gone the second he smiled back at me in Starbucks.

I don't know how our conversation managed to survive all the way from Starbucks to the park without faltering, but it did. It was honestly one of the most well-rounded conversations I'd ever had.

"So who do you hang out with at school?" I asked. I saw him flinch, and his face fall, which confused me. "Like I never see you around-ever."

"I eat lunch at home." He answered quietly. "A-and I don't really..hang out..at school."

Curiosity killed me. "Why?"

He sucked in a shaky breath. "Because I don't have anyone to hang out with."

"Come on now." I punched his shoulder lightly. "Everyone's got someone."

He shook his head and buried his face in his jacket, causing a sense of protectiveness to wash over me. This was new. I mean, I had a bunch of sisters I cared more for than my own self, but seeing Harry hide his face like that made me want to hug him close and never let him go.

"I don't." His voice was muffled. "I don't have anyone."

What?! But he was so amazing. He's so nice and funny and-wait, I already said that earlier, didn't I? Well, I'm saying it again. How the hell does someone like Harry not have people to hang out with?! Oh well. Their loss.

"Well guess what." I completely turned to him and grinned. "You have me. From now on, you're going to hang out with me."

He gave me a confused look.

"No joke. And you don't get a say in it." I grinned wider, causing him to nod and smile back."Now, it's getting dark and colder. We should get going. Wanna come over to my house?"

He ended up saying no, but agreed to let me walk him home. Happily, we made our way down the sidewalk.

"You know, you're pretty cool, Harry." I shoved him playfully. "Why is it you're so shy? I bet if you put yourself out there, you'd get a hot girlfriend and a bunch of friends."

Secretly, I hoped he'd say he wasn't into girls. Oh, does that sound selfish to want him to only like guys? Wait, am I accusing this man of being gay? Of course he's not gay. He's obviously straight. Louis, you need to stop assuming people like him are gay. Be patient, Louis Won Kanobi. You'll get a boyfriend soon.

Instead of him replying with words, he laughed so suddenly and loudly, I jumped.

"What's so funny?" I crossed my arms.

"Me, getting a girlfriend?" He chuckled. "That is never going to happen for me unfortunantly."

"I'm sure if you tried-"

"Nope." He shook his head.

"Harry, I know if you just-"

"Louis, I'm gay." He said softly, his cheeks growing into a bright red color. "A hot girlfriend isn't in the cards for me, and, unfortunantly, neither are tons of friends."

My heart stopped. Oh my god. He is gay. Omg omg omg omg omg-LOUIS CALM DOWN. You barely know the guy! Keep your pants on, damn. Am I fucking talking to myself again. Oh jeez...

In a split second decision, I looped my arm into his and pulled him as close as possible without being too weird. I was met by his wide green eyes and nervous titter.
