Liam sat in the passenger seat of Octavia's car (which was actually Derek's Camaro which she had borrowed), fidgeting in his seat and looking brutally annoyed with the car radio as she drove. This didn't go unnoticed by Octavia, who began driving faster as she understood that the full moon had started to affect him.
"The party is at Lydia Martin's lake house. Well, actually, it's her grandmother's lake house. But she'd dead, so it's okay," Octavia rambled before realizing the connotations of what she had just said. "I mean, it's not okay that she's dead. Unless she was in pain."
The last time she had been this nervous around a guy was...never. She had never been this nervous around a guy, so why was she so different when it came to Liam?
"Can you turn the music down?" Liam asked loudly, snapping her out of her thoughts and causing her to glance at him worriedly.
"You want me to turn the music up?" Octavia obliged, turning the volume up before realizing that the radio was blaring some cheesy song about falling in love, which Liam noticed as well. Both of their cheeks turned red immediately as they looked everywhere but at each other.
Suddenly, Octavia heard two beeps from someone's phone. She always kept her phone on vibrate, so it was definitely Liam's. "Who did you say was coming to this party?" he asked.
"Everyone," Octavia lied, keeping her heartbeat steady. Growing up in a house of werewolves, she had mastered the art of controlling her heartbeat when she lied by the time she was five years old.
She continued driving in silence for some time before her phone buzzed. She kept one hand on the wheel as she checked her phone to see a text from Stiles with a picture attached to it. The text read, "I asked around, and found out why Liam got kicked out of his old school. This is what happened when he took a crowbar to his teacher's car. Take a look."
Octavia clicked on the picture and had to stop a look of shock from crossing her features as she saw an old blue car with it's windows smashed in, various scratches in the paint, and a message engraved on the side reading: "This is all your fault."

It was only a few more minutes before Octavia managed to park the Camaro in the driveway of the lakehouse next to Stiles's Jeep, Kira's red Prius, and Scott's motorcycle. The two werewolves got out of the car and Octavia began walking towards the door with Liam trailing warily behind her.
"Where is everyone?" Liam asked, noticing the distinct lack of vehicles.
"They're here," Octavia lied. "It's a small party."
"I thought you said everyone was coming?"
Octavia backtracked, wondering how she could be so stupid as to not remember the lie she had told the freshman earlier. "They are! They're late, we're early. So we better hurry!"
She laced her fingers through Liam's and pulled him into the house. There, waiting for him, stood Scott, Kira, Lydia, Malia, and Stiles. The freshman turned around to leave, but Octavia quickly stood in front of the door. "Sorry," she said, with a small smirk.
"What the hell is this?" he asked as Octavia walked over to the rest of the group.
"Think of it as an intervention," Stiles stated. "You have a problem, Liam."
"And we're the only ones who can help," Scott said.

"Werewolves," Liam said, pointing to Scott and Octavia, as they both nodded. "Werecoyote, banshee, fox?"
"Kitsune," Kira corrected. "But fox works too."
"And what are you?" Liam asked Stiles.
"For a while, I was possessed by an evil spirit," Stiles explained. "Very evil."
"And what are you now?"
"...Better?" Stiles stated questioningly.
"Are those for me?" Liam asked, looking down at the chains on the table.
"No," Malia responded, flashing her blue eyes at him. "They're for me."
"Woah." Liam took a step back. "How'd you do that?"
"You'll learn," Octavia responded, taking a step towards the confused freshman. "But first you need to get through the full moon."
"The moon's already out," stated Liam. Octavia kicked in her heightened senses, beginning to hear his pulse begin rising, his heart working furiously to pump blood through his veins.
"And you're starting to feel something, aren't you?" asked Scott.
"I feel like I'm surrounded by a bunch of psychotic nutjobs. You guys are out of your freaking minds. I don't know how you did that eye thing and I don't care! I'm walking out the door right now, and if any of you try to stop me, I swear to god I'm a-" Before Liam could finish his sentence, he had dropped to the ground, clutching his ears in pain.
"Liam, what's wrong?" Octavia asked, walking forward to try and help him. He began to yell in pain. "You don't hear that?"
She closed her eyes, focusing her hearing outside of the house. The sound of car honks, and beeps and footsteps filled her eardrums as she turned to Scott.
"Did you tell someone about this?" Lydia asked as the pack looked out of the windows to see all of the head lights of cars flashing in through the blinds.
"My friend Mason," said Liam before turning to look at me. Octavia kneeled down, putting a hand on his shoulder to trying to calm him down and to restrain him. "You said it was a party!"
"And who did Mason invite?" asked Stiles.
"Everyone," Kira said worriedly as Octavia groaned. Meanwhile, Liam's claws began coming out, and he dragged them across the floor as he struggled with his transformation.
"The floors, get him off the floors!" gasped Lydia. She tried going near Liam to get him off, but quickly backed away when his head shot up with a growl. "Octavia, help!"
"We need to get him to the boathouse, now," Octavia instructed, as Scott helped Liam out. "Lydia, stay here."
"Stiles?" growled Malia, who had leaned down and was being supported by the coffee table.
"Yeah?" he asked, turning to look at the were-coyote. She looked up at him, baring her fangs and glowing eyes. "Hey, okay! Basement, now, now!"
"What am I suppose to do with the hoards gathering outside the door?" Lydia asked in a panic.
"Lyds, who throws the best parties in Beacon Hills?" Scott asked, attempting to hold still the struggling beta in his arms.
"Me! And Octavia, obviously," she said, her voice high-pitched.
"Okay, then - you two - throw a party!"
Lydia turned around and walked to the door, opening it to reveal hundreds of people gathered behind Mason Hewitt, Liam's best friend. "Hey! Are we in the right place?"
"For the party?" asked Garrett, who stood at his side, a dark-skinned girl on his arm.
"Absolutely," Octavia replied, causing the crowd to let out a cheer before pooling into the lake house.

Author's Note:
We got some Octaviam fluff this chapter, which was super fun to write! I'm actually planning out their first kiss right now, so stay tuned for that (fun fact: it's super cute and awkward).
