They wanted simple love.

Chapter 4 January 14th

Alfie stood waiting waiting at the train station with Marcus for Zoe and Joe, they had a YouTube event that evening. Later on they were meeting Tanya, Jim and Louise. Alfie knew that as soon as he saw Zoe he'd want to kiss her, but no one knew about them and they decided that at the meal tonight they would tell them all together. Alfie had to wait.

As the train pulled in Zoe looked around for Alfie, she spotted him the other side of the ticket barriers, her heart raced, she wanted to be with him so badly, it had been a week since he had gone back home, they called, Skype, text all day but it wasn't the same.

Zoe and Joe came through the barriers, and she hugged Marcus first and then Alfie, he whispered in her ear

'Hello beautiful' it sent shivers down her spine.

After wandering around London, they could finally check into their hotel. When they got up to the room the boys card didn't work. Marcus and Joe went down to reception to sort it which left Zoe and Alfie alone in her room. As soon as the closed behind Joe she ran at Alfie and jumped into his arms, they kissed passionately for a few minutes before they sat on the edge of the bed

'I have missed you so much Zoe, it only been a well but it's felt like years' Aflie sighed

'Oh Alfie me too, I just want you everyday to be beside me, keeping me safe and happy' she twisted her bracelet 'I just look at this when I miss you too much'

He placed a delicate kiss to her hand. He wanted to tell her he loved her but it seemed too soon.

They got shown to their table in nandos Alfie sat at the top of the table, Zoe on his left, Joe to his right, Marcus next to Zoe, Jim next to Joe and Tanya next to him and Louise next to Marcus. They all enjoyed their food chatting about what they had been up too, how big Darcy had gotten and the wedding plans for Tanya and Jim. All things that made Alfie excited her wanted marriage and children and right now he wanted them with Zoe. Alfie and Zoe had played footsie all night, whenever they were near each other they wanted to be touching. When the conversation came to a natural lul Alfie cleared his throat and looked at Zoe, she gave him a slight nod.

'So guys, you are all fricking amazing friends and so you're the ones I want to share my news with. So I have met a girl, she is beautiful and brave, the cutest thing I have ever known, she is strong at heart, kind and beautiful, just all round amazing. And I would like to formally ask her to be my girlfriend' he smiled at Zoe, she hadn't expected that, she thought he was just going to announce they were seeing each other.

'Oh Alfie of course I will' she lent over and kissed him. The kiss was slightly longer than appropriate and then Jim cleared his throat.

'Guys guys' they broke apart 'we are super happy for you but not so many PDAs please' Jim laughed, everyone laughed. Zoe looked around the table everyone was smiling but she could feel marcus and Louise were not happy.

They left the resturant and walked back to the hotel, Zoe and Alfie hand in hand, they felt free and excited, he couldn't stop kissing her cheek. They were so happy and in love. When they got back to the hotel Zoe and Louise got ready in their room, the boys in theirs and Tanya and Jim in theirs, Zoe wished her and Alfie had a room. But it gave Louise and Zoe a chance to talk.

'So Louise what do you think, and and Alfie eh?' Zoe smiled at her best friend.

'Lets not talk about it right now, just get ready and enjoy the party'

In the boys room Joe was giving Alfie the brother talk but he ended up just saying how happy he was that finally Zoe would be with someone who truly understood her. Marcus barely spoke. Then they was a knock at the door. Marcus opened it and Zoe stood their looking worried

'Zoe?'

'Is Aflie there?' Zoe nervously said

'Zoe, sweetie what's wrong?' Alfie asked drawing her into a hug

'I just needed to see you baby' she kissed him. Suddenly she felt the panic rise and she started to cry. It wasn't a panic attack but she felt that everything was getting on top of her.

'Zoe tell me what's wrong, let me help you!'

'I don't know if I can go to the party, too much too soon'

'If you can't go then we will stay here... Together' she smilied up at him.

'I'll go and get us a room so we don't disturbe Lou and the boys. C'mon darling' they went down to reception and got a room, Alfie then went and got his stuff from the boys room and explained, them Zoe's from her room and told Louise, then told Jim and Tan.

When Alfie got to the new room, Zoe was sat on the edge of the bed. Alfie sat beside her

'Now tell me what is really wrong baby' he kissed the top of her head.
