Aasha
Today is the day that my parents meet Shay. I'm so nervous and don't want them asking a lot of questions. Both Shay and Ary are kind of moved in. "Shay please help me fix the room up. It's a mess" I said giving her the side eye. She gave me the same look back. "Aasha there is nothing wrong with this room. You've vacuumed twice, cleaned the bathroom twice and folded all the clothes. Where is it a mess?" I looked around and she was right. There was nothing wrong with this room.
I walked out to the kitchen and saw Ary washing dishes. "Need any help?" I asked. She smiled and shook her head no. I stood there wanting to help with something. Everything needed to be perfect, for my mom at least. "Babe I got it. Go take a break! You're running around like a chicken with its head cut off." She was right. I took a deep breath in and sat on the couch. Kevin was watching ESPN as usual, with Shay right beside him. He looked over at me and smiled. "Come here sis" he said as he motioned his hands for me to slide over. I snuggled up under him like I did when I was a kid. He was my safe haven and made everything better. He wrapped his arm around my shoulder and rubbed my arm. I found myself becoming tired, and my eyes closing. I felt him kiss my forehead and carry me to my room.
Shay
"Is she always this uptight when her mom comes around?" I asked Kevin. He laughed and nodded his head yes. I really wish she would relax a little. "Yea she's always this uptight. Our mom is very judgmental and religious so the fact that she's in a relationship with a girl scares her." I nodded my head as he explained. I understood. I just hope her mom was cool with it. My role was to be the best friend who didn't have any family. It wasn't a complete lie. We were best friends, but I did have family.
1:30pm
I looked at my phone and it was almost time for her parents to arrive. I went to wake her up so she could get dressed. "Babe get up!" I said shaking her a little bit. She groaned and rolled over. I knew she was tired and didn't want to wake up but she had to. I slapped her on the ass but that still didn't work. I slid her shorts down and started rubbing on her pearl. She squirmed around from pleasure as my fingers moved in a circular motion. "Mm" she mumbled as she bit her lip. That was my cue to dive in. I flicked my tongue back and forth while fingering her with two fingers. Once she reached her peak I helped her release herself. She finally opened her eyes and gave me a satisfied look. "Now get your ass up and take a shower. It's almost two. They'll be here in about an hour." She jumped up and ran to the bathroom closing the door behind her. I laughed and walked out the room knowing I did my part.
"Is she up?" Ary asked curiously. I grinned a devilish smile and said "Yep!" She gave me the eye and said "what did you do?" I ran my finger across my lips like I was zipping them closed. "I'm not telling." She laughed at me and said "Ew y'all are so nasty!" I knew she would figure it out. Kevin sat there completely confused. I sat back down on the couch and watched tv as we waited for their parents to arrive.
3:30pm
AashaI heard a knock on the door and grew anxious. I looked over at Kevin with fear in my eyes. "Relax kid!" He said as he stood to his feet. He opened the door and dad greeted him with a hug. Alex practically knocked him over from excitement. I laughed and grew enough courage to stand to my feet. "Hey y'all" I said with a smile on my face. "Sha!" Alex screamed running towards me. I opened my arms for a hug, but he picked me up instead. "Woah! Someone's getting strong" I said laughing. He curled up his arm so I could see his muscles. I squeezed them a little and nodded my head. "Hey dad." He smiled and gave me a big warm hug. I missed him so much. My mom stood back observing her surroundings. She finally spoke up after everyone came in and settled down. "Hi." I gave her a stale look because she was so dry. She sat on the couch and looked at Ary then at Shay. "Who are these people?" Ary stuck her hand out to shake my mom's but she declined, turning her nose up. Here we go with the snobby attitude.
Alex and dad sat on the couch with Kevin and began watching sports center. My mom was in the kitchen preparing the turkey. It was already cooked for the most part, it just needed to be heated up. "Aasha come help me. Tell your friends to help too. Women don't sit around watching sports all day" she snarled. She hasn't been here an hour and she already managed to piss me off. I stood to my feet along with Ary and Shay. We went to wash our hands and helped with whatever it was my mom needed.
6pm
The food is finally done and it's time to eat. We gather around the living room and say grace. Once that's over with I dive in. The turkey is so good and the mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing and cranberry jello. I am in heaven right now. "Aasha slow down! Stop eating like a pig" my mom says. I roll my eyes at her and continue to dig in. She's so controlling and annoying.
"So Shay how do you know my sister?" Alex asks. She swallowed her food and smiled. "She's like my only friend that I have on campus. We're in the same class." Alex nodded and continued to eat his food, but of course my mom had to add her questions in. "Do you not have a family of your own? I mean why are you here? Why are either of you here?" Shay looked shocked and Ary looked like she was going to curse my mom out. I shook my head no and she bit her lip, trying her best to stay quiet. "Mom that was very rude. They are our guests. They couldn't go home this year." She rolled her eyes and continued to eat her food.
Once everyone was done eating we sat around and talked for a little bit. It was getting late and of course my mom wanted to get back to the hotel to sleep. Alex and dad on the other hand wanted to stay and talk. My mom caught a serious attitude. "It's ok ma I'll drop them off later" Kevin reassured her. She rose to her feet and stuck her nose high in the air. "Fine" she said before leaving the apartment. We all laughed once she was gone. "I don't see how you put up with her" I told dad. He laughed but told me to mind my manners because she was still my mother.
Alex
As we sat around and talked I sat back and observed. Shay and Aasha were more than friends, I could tell. The way she looked at her and laughed at her dumb ass jokes. They had We're dating but don't want them to know written all over them. "Y'all aren't just best friends are you? Y'all fuckin ain't you?" My dad slapped me in the back of the head as Shay and Aasha sat there like two deer in headlights. Their reaction told me everything I needed to know. Ary and Kevin were laughing hysterically. "Yes she's my girlfriend" Shay said proudly. "That's cute. Now I won't have to worry about you getting pregnant while in college." Dad was right about that. "Man you're so lucky. You get to have all the sex you want without having to worry about pulling out." Kevin and dad gave me the what the fuck you say look. I quickly shut my mouth before I self-incriminated myself anymore. "I know you're not having sex are you?" Kevin asked with worried eyes. Truthfully I haven't had vaginal intercourse but I have gotten head, a hand job and ate pussy before. "Uh no...of course not" I said hesitantly. My dad slapped the back of my head again like he could sense I was lying. "So back to Sha and off of me. You know it doesn't matter to me that you have a girlfriend right? I'll still love you no matter what!" She smiled at my kind gesture and took ahold of Shay's hand. They're so cute! "Yea you know you'll always be my baby girl no matter what. I support you as long as you make responsible decisions. Just because you're having lesbian sex doesn't mean you can't get diseases." Ary looked on shaking her head to every word. I love my family! It was at this moment that I finally realized my mom brought nothing but bad vibes and tension whenever she was around. I love her, but as I get older the less I like her being in her company.
