I was walking around campus trying to find my way to my 9:30 class, but I kept getting lost. I looked up from the printed out schedule and asked the first person I saw for help. "Excuse me" I said in a questioning tone. The girl looked me up and down, rolled her eyes and kept walking. "Bitch!" I yelled as she walked away. I couldn't stand straight girls who think I always want them. I looked around campus a little bit more and was about to skip my first day of class until I heard a soft, sweet voice say "do you need help?"
I smiled and nodded my head yes. She grabbed the paper out of my hand and told me to follow her. I shrugged my shoulders and followed the leader. She spoke to a few people on the way but never stopped to have a substantial conversation. "We're here" she said handing me my schedule and walking into the room. I guess we have the same Algebra I class. She took a seat in the front row and pulled out her notebook. I sat beside her and admired her beauty. "Focused already I see?" She looked up, smiled, and shook her head yes. Just then the professor walked in and got straight to business. I dropped my head because it was going to be a long semester.
10:45am
Class was finally over and I couldn't be any more relieved. I threw my bag over one shoulder and began walking out the classroom. "Hey, I didn't get your name." She stopped walking and said "I'm Asha." I stuck my hand out for her to shake it but she declined. "Nice to meet you, but I have to go." I watched her walk away trying my best not to stare. She is so gorgeous. I wonder if she likes girls?
Asha
I was walking back to the apartment because my next class wasn't until 1:30. I was so hungry and hopefully there was something to eat at the apartment. As I got halfway there Kevin texted me and said he had lunch ready. I became so happy I jogged the rest of the way home.
I stuck my key in the door and the smell of hot wings and fries hit my nose. "Yass big bro this smells great!" A smile formed on his face as he revealed the food. I quickly washed my hands and grabbed my plate. I had two hours before I had to head back to campus. I turned the tv to Netflix and put on The Skinny. That was one of my favorite movies.
"Damn girl I see you were hungry" Ary said in a playful tone. I nodded yes because I skipped breakfast. "Those wings were everything." She smiled and said "yea I know. I can cook can't I?" My eyebrows furrowed because Kevin made it seem like he cooked this. "Girl why Kevin ass made it seem like he cooked this?" She burst out laughing. "He cooked the fries. I'm trying to teach him other stuff outside of pizza and wings." I wiped my mouth and sat back on the couch full from the 10 wings I just ate.

"Asha get up. It's 1:15" I heard Ary say. My eyes got big because I knew I'd be late for class. Shit I mumbled. Ary grabbed her keys and said she'd drive me up the street. I was so thankful because I've heard various rumors about this English professor. She hates when students are late, her test are super hard, and she's a grumpy bitch.
I jumped out the car and ran towards my classroom. When I arrived it was 1:25, 5 minutes to spare. I caught my breath and scanned the classroom. The same girl from my math class was in this one too. There's no avoiding her I see. She sat in the back with a smile on her face. I tried my best to ignore her so I sat in the front row.
Eventually our professor came in, but she didn't look mean at all. She looked happy as hell. She had a huge smile on her face, her hair was neatly combed back into a low bun and her outfit was modern and hip. "Alright class I am Professor Ashe. I'm sure you all have heard a lot about me, but I assure you none of those rumors are true. Those are just rumors upperclassmen spread to scare you guys." Those words were followed by a lot of heavy sighs. We were ecstatic that they weren't true. A burden had been lifted off my shoulders.
Professor Ashe started class by handing out our syllabus and class schedule and going over them. Once that was done we introduced ourselves and played a game. All of that took about forty minutes with twenty to spare. Class was let out early so I decided to grab a soda before my 2:45 class.
As I was walking out I heard a voice say "hey wait up." I turned around to see the same girl from earlier. I rolled my eyes in annoyance. She was really persistent and wasn't giving up. I needed to be focused this semester because last semester I wasn't. I ended up with 3 C's and one B+. If I didn't get my shit together my dad would kill me.
"Yea what's up?" I asked trying not to sound annoyed. She smiled and for the first time I noticed how beautiful it was and her gorgeous brown eyes made my heart skip a beat. I shook my head no. I was not about to let another stud get the best of me.
"You move fast. I barely caught up with you." I let out a slight giggle because this girl was so determined. "Yea I was trying to get a soda before my next class." She nodded her head and motioned for us to walk and talk. She seemed cool so I didn't mind. "So are you a freshman too?" I shook my head yes. "That's cool. Well can I get your number so we can hang out sometime?" I thought about it for a few seconds then decided what would it hurt. "Yea. Give me your phone." She handed it to me and I locked my number in it. "I'll text you later" she said before walking off. Maybe her intentions aren't bad after all.
