Jungkook began gnawing on his lower lip repeatedly as he stayed seated at a private table in the fancy restaurant, not a single doubt that it belonged to the Kim Corps. The Kims had five-star hotels, restaurants, shopping complexes and arenas built and becoming a big hit throughout all of South Korea due to the company being a successful and wealthy establishment for almost 100 years. It was brought up by the famous Kim Byungheon who was apparently Kim Taehyung's great grandfather in 1915.
Jungkook had heard a lot about the businessman, learning how hardworking and dedicated he was to his beloved company. As expected, all of those concluded in a company so great others had failed to compete with it to be on top of the charts for the best-selling company in South Korea for 5 decades. That was amazing to Jungkook but he couldn't comprehend why Kim Taehyung wasn't like his great granddad at all.
It was half past eight and he was waiting for the heir of the corporation to come and get this night to an end. The raven haired boy was beginning to grow bored and slightly irritated by the lacking presence of the other male as he tapped his foot against the marble tiles. As if his prayers were answered, the doors were opened by a waiter and a male with honey brown colored hair strode inside with steps so confident and so... cocky.
The paler of the two was quite surprised by the sudden entrance of Taehyung, not to mention not even realizing that it was him due to his new hair color. Jungkook straightened his back and leaned against the chair, only to get up once the male had come closer for an introduction. "I'm sorry that I'm late. I had a few things to do before coming to meet you, Jeon Jungkook." In contrast to his words, the light haired male was wearing a somewhat smirk across his lips. "I'm Kim Taehyung."
"Yes, well, I've heard a lot about you, Taehyung-ssi and it is all right." Jungkook replied, not bothering to mention his own name since the other did say it, showing that he knew it beforehand.
Taehyung's smirk widened at Jungkook's words, or Jungkook's heavenly velvety voice he wasn't so sure, and he nodded his head in acknowledgment. "I see that you've seen me in the news for quite awhile. Please, have a seat." And he took a seat in front of the other male while the latter dropped his bottom onto the chair, instantly having the menu brought to the two of them.
Having his finger poking his own lips while biting down the lower one, Taehyung skimmed through the menu for a few minutes before ordering. "Give me the usual. Remember, make it the same as last time. Thanks, beautiful." He shot the waitress a flirty wink as he handed the menu back to her and propped his elbows against the table, lacing his fingers together while resting his chin on top of them with his smirk still visible.
Jungkook wasn't minding that his rather soon-to-be husband was shamelessly being flirtatious with someone, more precisely a girl who was a well known stranger to them. He didn't even give a single glance nor a small glimpse at the older male after having seated once again.
"I'll have the steak, make it medium-rare with the black pepper sauce and salad. Oh and just water, thank you." Jungkook gave the menu back and the waitress bowed her head to the two after jotting down their orders, rushing back to the kitchen.
"So, what do you th-" "Look, Taehyung-ssi. I'm pretty sure you know why we're both stuck in this restaurant, facing each other right now while we could be doing anything we want at our comfort zones comfortably now." The raven haired male cut Taehyung's words, it was probably rude but Jungkook was just Jungkook, and he calmly lifted his gaze up to the latter, having his pair of eyes looking at him too.
The older of the two scrunched his nose slightly and leaned back against his seat, crossing his arms against his chest. "Yeah, and?" He raised an eyebrow at Jungkook, urging him to point out what he wanted to say.
Jungkook just shrugged and replied, "I'm not trying to call off this marriage or anything, because I'm a nice son like that. But I do have to make out a few rules before this wedding ever so happens because I'm a man and a free man too, even with this marriage."
Taehyung didn't know how the boy was so calm about this. He was supposed to be flipping shit or screaming his lungs out on the peak of Mount Everest because did he even realize who was he getting married to? He swore the boy was abnormal or something to not be ogling at his gorgeous appearance. He was wearing a nice grey v-neck fit t-shirt with a dark colored blazer and matching jeans while Jungkook was wearing a long sleeved black shirt that was a little too big on him and skinny jeans, only that but Taehyung, instead, found himself raking his eyes all over the younger's somewhat toned figure. No, he was hella huge and muscular. Taehyung's wasn't bad either. He was lean, toned too and they were both at the same height but damn, that kid has it way better than him.
He probably works out or something underneath all of that goodie two shoes nerd façade. I'm sure he has a nice body too- The light haired male was shaken out of his train of thoughts upon seeing and hearing Jungkook calling out to him from Earth a couple of times. He shook his head slightly and put up his own façade again, the irritating smirk coming back to his oh-so-handsome face. "Ah, yes. And you were saying?"
Jungkook resisted the urge to roll his eyes because can't that guy get anymore obvious than that? Eyefucking the young lad in a heavily fancy restaurant that wasn't really packed but full of eyes still watching their every movement. He sighed silently and repeated his last sentence, "Just so you'll know that what's mine is mine and what's yours is yours. Something like that."
The younger male wrapped his fingers around the glass filled with cold water and brought it up to his lips for a sip, placing it back down after a few. Taehyung just nodded his head at the words he heard and raised both of his brows, growing fairly amused to how the younger seemed to act around him. "So tell me this little rules of yours that you came up with, Jungkookie."
