Walking into my job, I walked towards my boss, Aurora. Her back was turned to me.

I tapped her shoulder and took a step back. Her long, auburn hair swayed as she whipped around. Her bright eyes sparkled with confusion as she recognized my face.

"Atticus? What are you doing here three hours early?"

"I was wondering if I could start my shift now and have Saturday off. Please," I kind of begged.

"Why do you want Saturday off? That's our busiest day!" I winced at her tone.

"M-my son is turning three and I really want to throw him a party. I've missed his last two birthdays working."

"Son? You have a son? Let me meet him now!" I quickly nodded my head and turned around, almost running into-

"Millicent! What are you doing in here?" He looked at me and giggled. He reached his hands up and I scooped him up into my arms.

"Mwommwy was wowwied so I cawm to get you." I sighed and turned towards Aurora.

"This is my son, Millicent." I noticed that her and Millicent had some of the same features.

Her face scrunched up in confusion. She opened her mouth to say something, but was stopped by a beautiful voice.

"Atty. What's taking so long? You said two minutes," Autumn said, appearing to my side and taking Millicent away from me.

Millicent squealed "mommy" and Aurora gasped.

"Autumn?" Tears reached her eyes and Autumn's eyes widened. I just stood there, taking in the fact that they might be related due to the same hair, pale skin, blue/purple eyes, and freckles. Yeah, they're related.

"H-hey A-Aurora. How have....How have you been," he asked, avoiding eye contact. She ran and hugged Autumn, squishing Millicent in the process.

"Oh Autumn! I've missed you so much. I'm so sorry I wasn't there for you." Autumn softly pat her back, letting a few tears fall.

"And look at this beautiful little boy you made. He's so cute. Oh I love him already!"

That night. Autumn reunited with his sister and I got Saturday off. Aurora wanted to go to Millicent's party.

I am honestly so happy with everything.
