Lila's POV:
"I wonder what my first day of school will be like in America" I say to Neko, the panther that lives in the forest behind my house. Neko just stays in her favorite tree and yawns before jumping down and rubbing on me. "Great now I have panther fur on my shirt, thanks Neko" she roars quietly, saying she's sorry. My alarm goes off and I grab my bag and Johnnie Guilbert jacket then walk to the bus stop. When I get on the bus I see Neko following me but staying hidden. I shoo her then sit in an empty seat. Then I see this really cute guy get on the bus too, he keeps his eyes on the floor and stops by the seat I'm on. "Sorry, I'll move if you want." I say, he just shakes his head and sits next to me.
Danny's POV:
I get on the bus and walk to the spot I always sit in but there is a really pretty girl there. She must be new. She asks if I want her to move but I say no. Wow she is really pretty, and seems kind. What is this feeling in my chest?
Milo's POV:
I walk to my bus stop and wait. When the bus comes I get on and see Danny sitting with a.. a GIRL! I sit next to Danny since it's a three person seat. "Sup new girl" I say, in response she says "Hi, I'm Lila. I'm new here and can you maybe show me where my classes are?" Wow, her accent is amazing. I ssay sure and the rest of the way we talk about her. I learned she is from England, loves Secondhand Serenade, Johnnie Guilbert, and Panic! At The Disco.
Danny's POV:
Milo sits with me and starts talking to that girl. Apparently her name is Lila. I didn't notice her accent before but it's really cute. We seem to like the same things, maybe I'll make a new friend. I stay quiet and keep my head down out of habit. When the bus stops Lila falls into my lap on accident.
She apologizes and I whisper "It's okay, I did that my first time on the bus too." I then walk with Milo and Lila to her locker. We all have the first class together, Biology. She puts her skateboard, drawing notebook, and puts up a picture of her and another girl in her locker then we walk to class.
Lila's POV: I put my things and a picture of Rain and I in my locker. We all walk to Biology and the teacher tells us to find a seat. Milo, that other guy, and I sit in the back together. The teacher rants about how this year is going to be great. After the day goes on we learn that we have every class together, coincidence maybe. When we get to lunch I don't eat anything, I usually pick fruit from the bushes in the forest with Neko. I live on my own and have been here for a week. Both of my parents died in a fight against our rivals. Their last wish was for me to get away from danger, so I went to America.
