Chapter 10: The Secret

Milo's POV:

I hid in an alley a few streets down and cried. I know Danny didn't know I liked her but it still hurts. I just couldn't believe she fell for him, the weak one, and not me, the strong and handsome one. It's a little rude but right now I want to die. It's like they're mocking me or something, just the way she told us they were together.

Mr. Regi's POV:

I run after Milo and see him run into an alley. I stopped when I saw him crying. He had this sick and traumatized look like he just watched someone get killed. "What happened?" I asked and he said "It's nothing.." Then Milo got up and walked back to Starbucks. I brushed it off as nothing happened.

Lila's POV:

I saw Milo and Mr. Regi and immediately walked to Milo and hugged him. I felt him tense up and I said "Why'd you run off?" Milo replied with "I'll tell you later." I led them to the table where the drinks and Danny were. Danny gave me a questioning look trying to ask what happened. I mouthed "He'll tell later." Danny nodded and sipped on his drink. I handed the other boys their vanilla shakes with extra whipped cream and small coffee, that's what they got last time. We sat and and talked about random things. We went back to my house when we were done. Mr. Regi said "I should go, I have to grade tests." We all said okay and goodbye. I asked Milo "Can you tell us why you ran off? It's later." He said "I don't want to tell you anymore.." Milo and I started arguing and he finally shouted at the top of his lungs "I LOVE YOU LILA! LEAVE ME ALONE NOW!" I stood in astonishment.

Danny's POV:

He loves Lila? What? What's not to love about her but he knows I'm dating her. I started to lunge at him, trying to fight, but when Lila saw what I was doing she grabbed my arm in midair and I fell on top of her. She looked at me then at the door that was wide open, I'm guessing Milo ran away.
