Lana checked her hand the minute she stepped foot in her small house. She smiled seeing as Nash's number was still written neatly on her hand.
Lana smiled even bigger at the thought of her being able to hear Nash's voice again. The thought of actually conversing with a boy who didn't look half bad and his friends didn't look bad either.
Lana quickly made herself a piece of toast, making a mental note to self to go to the store and get some food. Lana put peanut butter on the toast since, unlike most people, she wasn't allergic to peanuts but she can't have Nutella because she's allergic to Hazel Nuts.
She ate her toast, scrolling through her feed on Instagram and Twitter. Her feed was absolutely dry. Nothing had been posted worth looking at since she last checked it eight hours ago.
As she licked all the peanut butter off of her fingers, she sat on the worn couch. The worn couch the dorm already had in it. She went to a boarding school because she was sick of all of her parents useless rules.
The only rules here are easy to follow.
1) No being in a dorm of the opposite sex after 7 PM.
2) No body to body contact unless two layers of cloth is placed between.
3) Curfew is 10 PM
4) Lights out at 11:30 PM
5) Don't argue with Elders.
Those are the only rules for Lana to stay Royal to. Plus, a lot of people sneak around after midnight. There are some unwritten rules though, like the Dean doesn't like any sort of alcohol, drugs or tobacco on campus, three offenses and your written up, three write ups and your expelled.
Lana sadly still has one year left until she graduates, but then she already has a scholarship to the neighboring college, it's all the same kids and basically the same rules, just a little more laid back since you'd no longer be a minor.
Lana pulled her phone off of the charger. She smiled and typed in the number written across her hand into a new contact.
Nash :-)
She pressed the small phone symbol and let it ring, her phone on speaker so she could clean up a little and try to get some homework done. Maybe even flip through her journal.
She didn't have to worry about her roommate coming through since she got expelled two weeks prior for drug abuse and having sex with her boyfriend on campus.
"Hello?" Nash's voice rang through Lana's room.
"Nash?" Lana questioned, smiling as she already knew who it was.
Nash smiled though Lana couldn't see him, "Lana. I missed you so much already."
Lana blushed the slightest. "I missed you too but my love for food made me eat a piece of toast first."
"Then you called me since you love me almost as much as food? Right?"
Lana smirked. "Keep thinking that buddy."
"Really?" Nash frowned. "That was rude."
"I know. I meant for it to be." Lana smiled, tapping her pencil on her paper. "I'm not seeming to get any work done."
"Aw. I have homework too. The Jacks went out so I have my dorm to myself for a bit."
"Dorm?" Lana questioned.
Nash smiled a little. "Yeah. I go to school at Palms Boarding School."
"I do too. I'm shocked I haven't seen you around campus." Lana tried to think of when she ever saw Nash. She didn't, but the blonde boy he was with looked familiar. "The blonde one looked familiar though."
"Johnson. He's my roommate. Then there's Jack, well technically they're both Jack, we just call one by the last name." Nash smiled."Who's your roommate? Maybe I have classes with her?"
Lana smiled again. "I've got a single room. Mara got expelled so when they were searching, I asked if I could just keep the room to myself. Dean said as long as nobody new comes 'round."
Nash rolled his eyes. "I didn't like Mara."
"Who did?"
"Obviously the scum that dated her."
"He was ugly. Trust me."
"Well. Now I know her standards. I have to get some work done. I'll try and look for you tomorrow." Nash smiled again.
Lana nodded, realizing Nash couldn't see her she blushed and said, Goodbye.
Nash hung up and laid back on his bed. His face was redder than a tomato. Jack and Jack came bursting into the room, baring food as they dropped it on the 'Coffee Table' though it was just a chest with Coffee Table written with tape on the top.
Nash ate quickly and then got on his bunk. He has the top because he's the tallest. Johnson has the bottom and Jack has the single bed pushed up against the opposite wall.
Nash's phone lay plugged in beside him as he took his shirt off but kept his pants on to save time in the morning. He laid his head on the pillow and shut his eyes, letting himself fall asleep whilst thinking about Lana.
