I woke up very early to the sound of something hitting my window. Rubbing my bleary eyes, I pulled back the curtain and was shocked to see a bright eyed Matthew throwing pebbles at my window.

He gestured for me to come down with a 5 minute signal and I nodded. Running to my trunk, I skidded to a halt, nearly plowing into a tall girl with wavy brown hair.

"Watch where your going newbie." The girl snarled and wrinkled her nose as if smelling something foul. "Get in my way again, and I'll squash you. The name is Zahra Hart."

I nodded and quickly scampered out of her way.

"Well that was uncalled for." I murmured to myself as the door slammed shut.

I had 5 minutes to get dressed and get down to Matthew. And then an entire hour before classes even began.

'Boy, this was going to be a hectic day' I thought and quickly threw on my robes.

~Matthew~

I had woken up early and realized I was on the floor. I had nearly rolled all the way under my bed and had an old gym sock stuck to my cheek.

Careful not to smash my head on the box spring, I stood up and cracked several bones in my back.

Yawning, I quickly got dressed as I remembered what I had planed to do the previous night with Aria.

Racing to the Quidditch Pitch, which was right outside of Gryffindor Dormitories, I picked up a few stones and threw them as hard as I could at Aria's window, missing by several feet each time.

Finally groaning I heard a voice from behind me,

"You could just use a spell." A boy said lazily.

I turned and noticed a boy with creepy yellow eyes.

I shivered at his eyes and pretended like I didn't hear him but took out my wand anyway. Thinking long and hard, I finally remembered to spell for flying things and when I did, I felt dumber than a box of rocks.

Hands shaking, I whispered "Wingardium Leviosa."

As the pebbles flew up, I let out a sigh of relief and a cocky grin invaded my face.

The boy with creepy eyes studied my intently, "What exactly are you doing Matthew?"

I jumped, startled he knew my name, and lost my focus on the rocks, all of then plummeting to their rocky death.

"None of your business, creep. Now go I away." I said, very irritated by this point.

"The name's Silas. Not that you care." The boy called once more, his voice much further.

Not even turning around I focused back on the task at hand: Getting Aria down here faster.

~Silas~

I scurried back to dorm room, heart in a knot, knowing something was off. While I was out for a morning stroll, I caught a wiff of something, something I've never smelt before. Looking up, I had seen Matthew's blonde head bouncing rocks off of the Gryffindor Dorm window.

However, as I neared him, I quickly realized the scent was not him, but instead a sickly sweet smell mixed with rotting flesh. I could hear the crunching of some sort of bone echoing in my ears from the forest.

Whatever this presence was, it was after something. Or someone.

~Aria~
Haphazardly, I yanked on a warm flannel over my grey long sleeve, while running down the hall. Out of no where, I heard the shuffle of feet and my heart stopped.

"Student, out of bed early! Come out come out where ever you are." whispered the gravely voice of Filch, the repugnant Caretaker of Hogwarts. Followed by his voice was the soft mew of a cat, obviously Mrs. Norris.

My breathes began to speed up and my heart was beating so fast I thought for sure it was going to be louder than anything, that was until Peeves saved the day by dropping yet, another plethora of dung bombs over the banister.

Grumbling about the struggles of his life, Filch ran off to capture the devious poltergeist and try for the 10 billionth time to punish him.

Regaining my determined mind set, I raced around to corner, nearing the large double doors where just beyond, a presumably impatient Matthew was waiting.

As a large grin spread across my face, I just about leapt across the corridor. Mid-leap, I hit a hard figure. No, not a figure, a body. The body of the one and only Professor. McGonagall.

"P-P-P-Professor... it's not what it looks like." I stammered out, face flushing redder than an apple.

"Well Miss. Potter, my old eyes may be weak but have yet to prove me wrong. Detention and 10 points from Gryffindor." Pausing to re-think, McGonagall looked at the shocked expression written across my face and pursed her lips, "Yes Miss. Potter, my own House. Very much like your father and his friends indeed."

Blushing furiously, I bit the inside of me cheek and turned swiftly on my heel, heading directly to where the trouble blossomed from: the Dormitory.

~Unknown's POV~
"The sun had come up very late today. Slowly inching above the horizon as seconds passed. The slow spread of sunlight, beautiful and yet destructive at the same time.

One who is so pale, lurks around the woods at night. The very woods I occupy, keeping a close eye on the girl. Watching her grow. Watching her develop. Watching her become what she is destined to be." I scribbled this down quickly in my journal, stashing underneath my makeshift bed as I heard footsteps approach.

A sharp rapping noise sounded on my bedroom 'door' and Mother stormed in

"Child! It's is time." She paused for dramatic effect. "It is time to do what has been asked upon us by my Lady and satisfy her too no extent" Her voice rang shrill and screechy.

I shuffled my feet uncomfortably, knowing what she meant. I, an 11 year old little girl, was to be enrolled in Hogwarts. My mission? Kill Aria Potter.
