Who would've known

Chapter 5

I woke up at 6:30 that evening and decided to make dinner
I found leftover lasgna in the fridge and put it in the microwave

I ate quickly and left the house. I got a text from Mandi saying: don't come over I got things to do.

I put my phone in my pocket and walked to the park. I sat on a swing set and watched little children running and laughing..

My phone buzzed in my pocket I brought it out and saw a message from an unknown number

UN: Hey, guess who?

S: who?

UN: you're supposed to guess

S: are u gonna tell me or what?

UN: fine..

S: ...

UN: look behind you

I turned around and met dazzling blue eyes

"Vince?" I said, "how did u get my number?"

"Mandi's phone" he smirked and sat next to me

"What do you want?" I asked harshly

His face fell, "well I needed fresh air and decided to come to the park" he said

"Can you sit somewhere else?"

"No.." He smiled

"Fine then i'll sit somewhere else" I said as I got up..

"Why? What did I ever do to you? I try to be nice but you push me away..look, I'm sorry about what I said at the coffee shop, I really didn't mean it like that and I'll stay away from you from now on since that's what you want.." He said, before walking away..

I just started at him as he walked away, I felt so guilty for treating him badly. I sat on the swing set just thinking about him..

I got back home at 7:30 and had a shower. I wore something comfortable and layed on my bed and sighed. My phone buzzed and I looked at it to see a message from my mum

Mum: don't wait up for me, I'll be home late..sweet dreams, love you :*

Me: g night, love u too :*

I put my phone on my dresser, I then decided to text Vince to apologize. I picked up my phone and sent a quick text.

Me: hey Vince..

No reply..

Me: um I just wanted to apologize for the way I have been treating you, it wasn't fair and I'm really sorry

No reply..

Me: well I hope you forgive me..

I put my phone back on my dresser and went downstairs.. I went into the kitchen and took a bowl of ice cream from the fridge I ran back to my room and sat on my bed watching Netflix on my laptop..

My phone buzzed and I rushed to get it hoping it was a text from Vince.

Vince: I forgive you :)

Me: :)

Vince: can we meet up tomorrow for lunch maybe?

Me: sure, well meet at the cafe by 2:00pm

Vince: great, can't wait.. :)

Me: g night..

Vince: g night.. ;)
