Chapter 6

Waking up the next day I check the time 12:00pm

Woah someone slept in...I remember chatting with Vince yesterday so I picked up my phone and went through the chats again smiling throughout... Well I hope this doesn't get out of hand.

I had a shower and brushed my teeth and put on a Grey haulter crop top and black jeans with a denim jacket and white Adidas shoes. I know For a nerd I have great fashion sense.

I put on my glasses and went downstairs. Mom was sitting on a couch drinking coffee from her mug.

"Morning mom"

"Hi sweetie, you really slept in" she giggled a bit

"Well I really needed to. i'm going out...I'll be home around 5 ish...?"

"At least have breakfast first" she gave me a weird look "its the most-"

"Important meal of the day" I finished off for her while rolling my eyes "yh I know I'll just grab something on my way. Love you bye" I blew her a kiss and left the house.

I walked into the coffee shop where I worked and ordered a donut and cappuccino.

I sat at a table near the window waiting for my food, when I received a text. I opened it up, it was from Vince.

Vince: Hey um i'm so sorry I have to cancel, something came up.

I can't believe this. He's canceling? After all the trouble...wow

Sav: wow OK.

Vince: i'm so sorry Savannah. Can we try another day?

Sav: I dont think so. Bye.

Vince: you're pissed?

Vince: really? I'm sorry okay

Vince: now you're ignoring me..

I kept my phone in my pocket as my food came. I ate up quickly and went to the park.

Great. What a waste of a good out fit to impress a guy that couldn't even bother to show.

I sat under a tree as I got to the park...and started playing games on my phone...I got bored of that so I just started looking around.

I took off my jacket. The Sunday breeze felt really good against my skin.

I closed my eyes and let myself drift off to sleep.
