Chapter 8 A new beginning

Iris looked at it and looked at her own bracelet and it was glowing a deep red. At that moment Iris knew who this dragon was and she hugged her sister. Iris and her sister both turned a blue, and she saw her sisters tear scale by her eye and they both ran out of the little tunnel Apollo ran and roared in anger seeing the two dragonets together he was about to pounce on the little dragonet when Iris ran in and pushed away her sister and she was about to get crushed when something grabbed her out of the way of the dragon. Apollo landed on the stone and he looked around the cave to see the two little dragonets flying away. Iris flew as fast as she could over the volcano with her long lost sister, she didn't know what they were going to do. I just found a my sister that I lost...And now I find her an- iris's thoughts were interrupted by a scream.Iris looked up to find that Storm was right behind her she flew for the ground grabbing her sisters talons. They all landed and Iris's sister was about to sip some venom " STOP" Iris yelled making them both look at her. "Okay lets learn each other's names, I'll start hello my name is Iris and I love dragon fruit, okay now you" Iris said looking at her sister "fine, hello my name is Gold and I like the stars" Gold said looking at the ground "and my name is Storm, and I like um well er...I like a dragon" he said trying not to look at Iris.
There was silence, no body said anything so they set off into the sky with Iris in the front. Soon they arrived the desert Storm led them to his home, it was dark with no sign of life. Storm blew some fire onto a torch that lit up the room, "well, welcome to my place" he said breaking the silence.
Iris nodded and went to a camel rug that was by the window, Gold went over to her sister she didn't know where they were going to live. "Iris what are we going to do?" Gold sounded worried, they were lost dragonets. " I don't know Gold, we don't even know who our mom and dad" Iris was sad, she knew that her parents were dead but she didn't know how to tell her sister. Iris looked outside and saw sand dunes and cactus, she didn't look at Storm or Gold she was to sad, Iris finally looked at the other dragons in the room "I think it's time for me to go to bed" Iris said trying not to look back outside. And soon she drifted off into sleep.
