Chapter 13 The mission

   Iris stared into the queens blue eyes, "Your part IceWing......." The queen spat not thinking about how this may affect Iris, Iris looked up at the queen with pear shock in her eyes. Tears started to from in Iris's eyes, she felt paralyzed. What am I? Am I a monster? Iris thought to her self still frozen in place.
       Queen Glacier stared at Iris with her blue eyes, she turned around and stepped out of room but before she did she looked back at Iris. She then walked out in a queenly manor.
       She woke up in the ice cave again. She felt Storms warm scales against hers, she looked up to find Storm awake holding herb is wings. She looked into his gray eyes. He stared back into her blue eyes with love.
"Where were you?" He asked with his soft kind voice.
Iris couldn't talk, she wanted to be with him for the rest of his life. She just stared into his eyes. She didn't talk think or move.
After a very long moment she finally talked. "I-I was i-in the t-throne r-room" she chokes the words out.
She could hardly breathe. Wait....I'm forgetting something.......GOLD Iris jumped out of Storms arms and looked around frantically.
She finally found Golds figure that was staring at her with fear in her eyes. What have I done..... Iris cried to herself. What have I DONE! I FEEL LIKE A MONSTER Iris yelled at herself.
Tears started to from in her eyes and she turned back to Storm, he stared into her eyes making Iris feel better. All her thoughts were thrown away.

Iris looked to the guarded door to see Queen Glacier. She bowed low motioning her the others to do the same and they did. She looked up to see the Queen inspecting the others then she came to storm with an odd expression on her face.
"What is a SandWing doing in my prophecy dragonets cave?" She asked Storm. Iris Looked up then she got up " he is part of my prophecy" Iris said in a strong voice that felt like it could kill a dragon.
Queen Glacier looked at her new spy and a smile grew on her face she is perfect for a general to replace HailStorm Queen Glacier thought.
Turned and left the room. "What did you get out of her mind" Gold asked while Storm thought Iris is the prettiest dragon in the world.... He started to daydream about them together.
"She wants to make me a general to replace a IceWing named HailStorm" Iris said quickly as if she was talking to the Queen.
      "Okay" answered Gold with a sharp voice. What is Iris up to with the queen of the IceWings....is she making a plan with her to destroy the other tribes...that can't be good Gold thought as she turned away from Iris.
      A guard came rushing to Iris grabbing her arm and running back to the doorway taking her threw many hall in the castle. "WHERE ARE YOU TAKING ME!?" Iris yelled trying to stop the guard.
        The guard turned and Iris felt like she had found her long lost boyfriend. "I'm Freeze and I like to jump in the ocean" he said then started to run again.
      " AHHHHHH" Iris screamed as she ran into a wall. She fell to the ground with a look that was no t very happy. "What happened.....FREEZE DID YOU DO THIS!" She screamed as Freeze tried to grab Iris's talons.
     Oh no.....not with her.....the queens favorite guest.....they always claw or bite or something to hurt me. Freeze thought as he turned around and started to run.
       Iris got up and ran after him while her huge wings hit the ice walls. The ice is like I'm on the bottom of  the rainforest. It's like I can skate like when Ocean brought me to the rainforest. Iris thought as she started to catch up to Freeze.
       When she finally got to Freeze she had made it to the throne room. "You finally arrived. And I see for have given Freeze here quite a workout" Queen Glacier said as she appeared form the back of her throne.
       Iris bowed as low as she could not wanting to see Glaciers nor Freezes faces. "Silent I see. Then I will give you your first mission" Queen Glacier said to Iris with a soft but sharp tone.
     "You will go to the SkyWing kingdom and find my other spy and her name is IceCloud she is half IceWing half SkyWing  and she will help you on this mission where you will find out what Queen Scarlet is planing to do with her army" Queen Glacier said with head high.
      "I will do so" Iris said as she walked back to the cave. What am I supposed to do with an Ice/SkyWing while I spy on Scarlet... Iris wondered as she continued to walk past IceWings that's stared at her as her scales pulsed red and blue in anger and sadness. She knew she would have to leave Storm.
        After a very long walk Iris reached the cave that she called home for now. She entered and Gold stayed in a corner away form Iris and Storms. She walked over to Storm and collapsed on the ice by his warm scales.
   (In Iris's dream)
Iris woke up in darkness again and she stood but her legs couldn't hold her anymore. She collapsed to the ground when she found herself in a room in a large cave on some bear skins. She looked around and found herself in a small egg. She looked to find a RainWing with an IceWing tail and a NightWing they both were smiling. The Rain/IceWing and the NightWing heard a roar and a MudWing ran into the cave he had battle scars all over him. The NightWing looked Iris with fear in his eyes he grabbed her and sat her in the Rain/IceWing in her talons and he ran to the MudWing as fire grew in his throat. The feeling that was carrying Iris looked at her and with tears in her eyes. It had all happened so fast she flew Iris still sitting in her rainbow egg put the top half on and it instantly melted together and it looked like it had never hatched she forgot something....her other egg that Gold lay in waiting.
