Chapter 1 - The Election

Everything is crowded. No one is healthy. Is there any way out of this?

Everyone celebrates after the election of 2021. President Dixton is now in office. He is determined to stop this population growth and save the United States. 7 billion people? How did this even happen?

I can hear my mother call for me. "Randy, get ready for the party. Meet me downstairs in an hour." I shower, get dressed, and, basically, get ready for the day. Our neighbors, the Browns, are obsessed with politics. I can relate with their daughter Patricia. She's not into politics as much as they are. She probably doesn't even want this party.

I make my way downstairs and my family and I start walking to their house. We are the first family to arrive. I go straight to Patricia while my family and her parents talk about how president Dixton plans on creating a new constitution and laws that will "get this country together". Good luck, Dixton. This country is hopeless.
