But still somehow,
they were the best
But then you went away,
to some unknown place,
And before I knew it,
I started missing your face
Days passed by,
but you didn't return
A pain in my heart,
like wounds and burns
But finally you came back,
like rain in a desert
Cure for my wounds,
remedy for all the hurt
Reasons came up,
apologies followed
Your innocence was genuine,
got my anger swallowed
Talks started again,
you even made a confession
Throughout the moments,
you left a deep impression
The smiles you sent my way,
healed my heart
And it felt like,
it was a new start
You seemed the best to me,
I loved your smile
Our hearts were close,
between separation of miles
You became my everything,
my cute,white dove
And before I knew it,
we were in love...
