Logan's POV

 

I was a bit taken aback when I got under the table and Aimee pulled me in for a massive hug. I had always missed Aimee as a friend. Teasing her was always hard work. "I know what you're thinking" I said to her. The way she was hugging me I knew she missed me as a friend too. "I miss it too. When we were friends and you were less of a geek." Suddenly Aimee pulled away from me, I felt the emptiness take over the places in my body where she touched me. I got this strange feeling in my stomach, it was like a magnetic pull. I then felt the urge to pull her back to me and never let her go. I looked at Aimee questioningly. She just glared at me with all the hatred of the world in her eyes directed at me. It broke my heart. I then heard an all-mighty crash behind me. For a second I thought my heart had actually broken, then I came to my senses and got out from under the table to look around. The earth was still shaking violently so I struggled to keep my balance. I was searching for something that we could maybe add to our supplies. When I saw nothing of use I turned around to get back under the table I saw that it had colapsed. I frantically looked around for Aimee but she was nowhere to be found. I looked back at the table and I saw what I wished I hadn't. An arm was sticking out from under the table with a destinct birthmark on the wrist. As soon as my eyes laid on that birthmark I knew instantly that it was Aimee. I screamed out for her but she didn't move. I didn't want to but I instantly thought the worst...
