An unexpected call

I was awakened by my telephone. I answered, still half asleep.

"hmmm ..." was all that I could manage to say.

"Wake up sunshine" I heard.

"It's like 9 A.M." I groaned back

"Why do you have to yell?! Just shut up! I'm trying to sleep here!" a very crancky Rachel said from the other end of the room.

"You shut up!" I said to her.

"Why should I shut up?" The person on the phone said.

"Sorry, I was talking to Rachel ... Who did you say it was again?"

"It's Dean" Dean said.

"Yeah Dean ... whatever" I mumbled

"Soooo..... What did you want to talk about?" Dean asked.

"You were the one who called me, remember" I said. I had rolled onto my back and I was now facing the ceiling. I was starting to wake up.

"Yeah, right, I forgot"

silence

"I haven't seen you in a while. How are you? Did you find John yet?" I asked him

"Nah, he send us to an asylum, in Rockford, Illinois. But we're still searching"

"Well good for you. So did you call me for a reason or did you just missed me?" I asked cheeky.

"Ha-ha" Dean replied "I did call for a reason, I-"

The phone was grabbed from my hand by Rachel.

"Dean did you just say Asylum?" She asked.

"Uhhmmm Hi Rachel, nice to hear you. I'm great, thanks for asking."

"Don't be sarcastic with me!" she said back. I groaned and rolled over so my head was drowing in the pillow. Me being the good person that I am, let Dean and Rachel carry on their conversation. I stopped listening to them. Until I heard Rachel say "Okay we'll be there in  3 hours"

"Get up you lazy ass! It's time for some hunting!" Rachel said.

"What?!" I said opening my eyes to see if she was serious. She was. Very serious. She was already packing her duffel bag. "You've got to be kidding me"

"No I'm not" she said simple.

"I really hate you, you know that right"

"I love you too" she said happy. I wasn't sure why she was so happy. Because she still wasn't fond of the Winchesters, even they had only met once. When I was dressed and I had packed my bags I walked out of the room.

"I'm going to say my goodbyes" I said to Rachel. We were in my father's house in Newton, Iowa. We came here the night before yesterday. And now we had to leave. I walked into the kitchen to see James (our cook), James junior (the son of the cook), Matilda (the maid), William (the butler) and my father having breakfast together.

"You're up early" James jr (AKA Jamie, it's the nickname that I gave him) said. I just ignored him.

"Good morning darling" My dad said.

"Good morning" I said back

"Why are you dressed? It's a lazy Saturday" My dad said confused.

"Yeah well, Dean asked for our help and we-"

"I understand" my dad interrupted.

"I'm really sorry" I apologised.

"Don't be sorry, I know that you rather be here, with us, in your pj's, enjoying these delicious croissants. But you have a job to do." My dad said. He stood up and came walking towards me. We hugged for a moment before I pulled away.

"Who said I can't have a croissant?" I said while I grabbed one from the tray. I smiled and walked out of the kitchen. Rachel was already walking down the stairs with mine and her duffel bag.

"Thanks" I said while taking mine.

"I'm dragging your ass away from your family, so this is the least I can do" She said with a smile. Her eyes looked at the food in my hand. "Is that a croissant?" she asked.

"Yeah, James made them." I said, but Rachel was already in the kitchen stuffing her face with food. I shook my head.

"These are delicious!" Rachel said with her mouth full.

"I'm glad you like them" Jamie said "They are home made"

"Like them! I love them! God these croissants came from heaven!"

"Okay Rachel, you can eat in the car. We have to go now remember."

"O yeah" she said while pushing the remains from the croissant in her mouth. Everyone watched with fascination. "Okay, leggo" she said. She grabbed two more croissants and headed for the door. Everyone followed her, except me and my dad.

"Be careful kiddo" He said giving me another hug.

"Ain't I always?" I said. This time he pulled back "Come on, no time can be wasted"

I smiled and headed to the car.

"I have already put your bags in the trunk, Miss Johnson" William said.

"Thank you" I said and got into the car.

"Take care miss Johnson and miss Adams!" Matilda yelled while waving. We waved back and drove off.

Dean's P.O.V.

It was the first time that I would see Lola after the Woman in white thing. I was still surprised that she didn't come after us. I wanted to ask her why she listened to me, but I was afraid that she would change her mind. The doors from the clinic opened. I turned my head, but it was not Sam. God, what took him so long! He had been in there for ages! Suddenly Sam walks past me.

"Dude! You were in there forever! What the hell were you talking about?"

"Just the hospital, you know" Sam replied.

"And...?" I asked

"And the south wing? It's where they housed the really hard cases. The psychotics, the criminally insane"

"Sounds cozy" I answered sarcastic

"Yeah. And one night in '64, they rioted. Attacked staff. Attacked each other."

"So the patients took over the asylum?"

"Apparently"

"Any Deaths?"

"Some patients, Some staff. I guess it was pretty gory. Some of the bodies were never even recovered, including our chief of staff, Eillicot"

"Whaddaya mean, never recovered?"

"Cops scoured every inch of the place but I guess the patients must've ... stuffed the bodies somewhere hidden"

"That's grimm"

"Yeah. So they transferred all the remaining patients and closed the hospital down."

"So to sum it up, we've got a bunch of violent deaths and a bunch of unrecovered bodies"

"And a bunch of angry spirits"

"Good Times. Let's check out the hospital tonight" I said. I was glad that I had called Lola. O yeah, Sammy didn't know that yet.

"I've got a surprise for you, back at the hotel" I said while getting in the impala.

"Please don't tell me you hired a prostitute" Sam said basicly begging me to say no

"What! Of course not!" I said.

"Then what is it?" Sam asked.

"It wouldn't be a suprise if I told you" I said. I put on some music to indicate that the conversation was finished. And I drove towards the motel.
