(A/N: The italics in the story is you doing the signs since your deaf.)
Your Point of View
I'm deaf. I can't hear and I've been doing sign language since I was 12. I've just moved to a different school. I got hate since I couldn't hear. I'm hoping someone at the school here would know. I can read lips so I can still get an education. As I was walking through the halls I bumped into a teacher. "I'm sorry." I signed to her. "What are you doing with your hands?" I couldn't see what she was saying. "What?" I shook my head. "She's doing sign language. She's deaf, Mrs. Reilly." The lady left and I told him, "Thank you. Do you understand me?" He nodded and signed, "My name is Louis. What's yours? You're welcome." I smiled. "My name is Y/N. How do you pronounce your name. Louie or Louis?" He laughs. "It's pronounced LEW-IE. Everbody asks me that question. So, love. Want me to be your translator and maybe I could take your pretty face in a date sometime? Hmm.." I laughed. "Sure to both." He hugged me. "Come on Y/N. Let's go to class." We walked in and I say next to him. Everything the teacher said, he signed and I caught on. "Class is dismissed Y/N." Louis said. I nodded and walked out, bumping into a girl. "I'm sorry." She scoffed. "Are you stupid?" I frowned. "I can't understand you." I pointed to my ears. She pushed me and said, "Pathetic little thing." I understood her that time. I looked down. "Hey, don't you see she can't hear you? She's deaf. How's she supposed to understand. Stop being mean to her. Go. Run along and never show your ugly face here again." Louis looked at me and, "I took care of them. They won't be bothering you anymore. Come on. I'll take you on that date I promised you." He took my hand and I thought, This is a start of a great relationship.

Sorry for the long wait. I've been in school so, you know how that works. Here it is. It's short but the next one will be longer. Enjoy!~Abby
