Prompt: your 'so-called' best friend's tell you a lie about Louis, saying that he's dating you for a dare.

Your Point of View
"Hey, Lou. Is alright if I go over to Tiffany's for a bit? She said she needed to tell me something important." I said, walking into the kitchen. "Course Pumpkin. Will you be back for dinner?" He asked. "Mmm... I think so. If not, don't wait up for me. Don't want my Lou Lou tired." He blushed and I giggled. "Go on, baby. See you later." I pecked his lips and walked to my car, driving away seconds after.

 When I arrived, there was another car there as well. Maybe it's Caroline, our other friend.

 I knocked on the door and Tiffany opened it. "Oh hi. Come in, and Carry is here as well. She just found out yesterday." I nodded and came in, sitting next to Caroline on the couch. "You know Olly, Louis' friend?" Tiff asked. I nodded. "Well, we were at the party with him and he told us something about Louis that he's been doing to you since you guys started dating..." 

I started getting anxious. "He said that Louis has been dating you for a dare and that he's just in it now because he feels bad for you. He doesn't love you, Y/N." I gasped. "N-no. This can't be true! Please tell me this is just a joke." Caroline sighed and said, "We're your best friends. Would we lie to you?" I shook my head. "I have to go." I ran out and got in my car. 

Would they lie to me? Maybe I should get Louis' side of the story. 

I drove to our house and took a deep breath, going inside. "L-Louis?" I yelled. A single tear ran down my cheek. "Coming!" I heard thumps down the stairs and saw Louis appear. "What is it, babe?" He said with a smile. "Are you with me because of a dare?" I asked, tears threatening to spill. 

"No! Why would you think that? Pumpkin, I love you." I gulped and stayed silent, debating if he was telling the truth. He tried to hug me but I pushed him away. "But they said they weren't lying and that Olly told them you were with me for a dare since the start." His eyes darkened, "Who is 'they'?" "Caroline and Tiffany, my best friends," I said. 

His frown deepened. "Babe, you know. I never told you I hate those girls. Tiffany and Carry are liars. You know how many times they try to flirt with me and try to get me to cheat? More than enough. I've never given in because you're my everything. They just like my fame and how you're in the spotlight with me. They're jealous." I looked down. "How do I know if they're lying? They said they weren't lying."

 He sighed. "Babe, I promise that I would never date you for a dare. You have my word, Pumpkin." I nodded and kissed him. "I love you, Louis," I started crying and clung to him. "How could they do this to me? I thought they were genuine friends."

 "Some people let jealousy get into get into their heads and push away the best things in their life. They don't deserve your kindness and they don't deserve you as a friend. I'll tell you what. How about we go over to Olly's and have him tell you his part of the story?" 

I frowned. The truth? "Wait, what?" I asked. 

He nodded and said, "We went to a bar and your friends were there. They tried flirting with us and Tiffany tried to get me to cheat on you. They started talking crap about you to Olly when I was in the bathroom and when I came back, he told me everything. Real friends wouldn't do that, Pumpkin. I really believe they're with you because of me and I'm sorry I have to break this to you. You know I love you, right?" 

I smiled and said, "You're all I'll need and I love you too, Lou," He grinned and hugged me. "I promise that I never started dating you for a dare. So, let's go to Olly's house and show you that I'm not lying." I nodded and Louis drove us to his house.
