"MAX! WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY HELMET??" came the loud screech from the Torro Rosso garage. Anyone knew well enough to stay away from the banshee when she was pissed.
Fernando laughed, he was sitting alone sipping some coffee when the eruptions of rage had started. He had Ava's blue and teal helmet sitting right there on his lap with him. It was just Max's idea of a really lame albeit really funny prank to pull.
"Mind if I sit here?" An Ozzie accent. Fernando could recognise that voice anyone. He turned around to find his good friend Mark Webber standing by with a cup in hand.
"Mark! Is good to see you!" Fernando gestured to the seat beside him and clapped Mark on the shoulder.
"Why are you back?" He asked in question. Mark chuckled.
"What? Can't come back and visit my ole mates can I?" He teased and Fernando rolled his eyes good-naturedly. He was about to shoot back a reply when another shout interrupted him.
"MAX!!" He turned to find Max scurrying past him with a cheeky grin and and thumbs up was sent his way. Mark raised an eyebrow. Once he safely passed them, Ava came racing after. She looked ready to tear somebody apart. Maybe it wasn't such a good idea to meddle with her stuff. When it came to her property, she could be worse that Kimi.
"Hey Nando, did Max come by?" She asked. He shrugged. She looked at Mark and her eyes widened.
"Well look who's returned from down under!" She said by matter of greeting and came forward to hug Mark.
"Good to see ya too chica!" He grinned cheekily and ruffled her black and dyed blue hair. That girl adored the colour blue.
"I'd lovely to stay and chat but I have a nasty little Belgian go catch." She gave Mark a mock salute and raced off.
"You have whatever it is she's looking for with you, don't you?" Mark asked, quirking an eyebrow. He knew Fernando so well.
"Her helmet actually. She has practice in afternoon, Max wanted to prank 'er so I help." He shrugged, lifting up her helmet, smirking. Mark rolled his eyes, that was his Spanish lion, the one who used to be so carefree and wild. He resisted the urge to ruffle his hair like he used to. Times were different now and they had both gone their separate ways. Thankfully it didn't stop them from catching up now and then. But he would never look at Nando the same way again.

"I swear, I'm going to kill that boy when I get my hands on him." I muttered furiously to myself . As much as I loved Max (as a friend of course, nothing more, why would I feel anything else, of course I didn't -), he could be such a pain in the arse at times. I stormed past the Mercedes garage and came close to colliding with Nico who was leaving to go elsewhere.
"Woah, easy there Aves. Why the hurry?" He asked, adjusting his cap. Again wit the really strange nicknames! (Nico called me Aves, Lewis, Seb and Jense loved calling me Varlee, both Dan's called me VaVa and Max called my Avary. JESYS CHRIST PEOPLE, MY NAME IS AVA. A-V-A.)
"A little Belgian decided it would be very funny to steal my helmet when I have practice later." I huffed, crossing my arms like a five-year-old throwing a tantrum. Nico laughed heartily.
"A taste of your own medicine ay?" He teased, poking my shoulder and I heaved a frustrated sigh, he wasn't over what we did the last time.
"It was that one time Rosberg, ONE TIME." I waved my arms madly like a flapping chicken. That one time we decided it would be funny to throw pies at him face as a joke on his birthday. He still held it against us. It wasn't even half as bad as our normal pranks (our, referring to his dearest brother-from-another-mother Lewis and me)
"You look like a panicky chicken trying to get someone's attention." He laughed. I glared at him and proceeded to pointedly give him the finger and then ignore him and continue my search, leaving him laughing and Lewis, who'd just arrived at the scene, trying to figure out why in the world his teammate was close to tears.
Did I forget to mention that Max also decided it would really, really, REALLY funny to swap my helmet for one of pink flowery biker girly helmets. I mentally shuddered. He knees I despised the colour and avoided it at all costs. When I got my hands on him, ohh I had something planned for him.
Payback would be sweet. But it would have to wait till after I got back my helmet and after I finished practice.
If I ever found the prankster.
