That afternoon after school I indeed had to go to the cafeteria. But it didn't went as well as planned...
The last bell had ringed and I found myself walking around with Lola, who had a crisis. She had to borrow a book of a girl of our class , but she couldn't find her. Now you see , since I totally forgot I had cafeteria duty I helped her search the girl. After 30 minutes we found her... And that's when I realised I was late. I ran to the cafeteria ready to be yelled at by Jacob, but when I arrived, he wasn't there yet . About 30 seconds later he came in. "Finally.." I said to myself , even though I was late he didn't need to know that. "How long were you waiting for me?" He asked me and I answered that I was already waiting for 30 minutes, and he could do everything cause he's late. But faith wasn't on my team, miss Brown came in. "Both of you are 30minutes late, you know what that means? You'll stay 30 minutes longer too." Shit. "I'm not late?" I could try .. No? " I don't know, five minutes ago you weren't here yet. Does that mean you're late or not?" Never try this again Jules. "Fine." When miss Brown walked out we started cleaning , I was hoping to clean in silence but nooo, as I said faith wasn't on my side. "Hahaha , you're so stupid , thinking you could use me with a lie? You know you have to be a little more badass to pull something like that off." Jacob said. "I am badass enough to pull that off , you bought it you know." In your face ass. "Yet here we are, me knowing the truth. You're such a nerd, I bet all you do is read and sleep. Oh and study." What? Is that what he thinks of me? Asshole. "Well you're wrong . In fact I even think I have a more interesting live than you have." "What do you think my life is then?" Without realising that I was actually saying these words to the schools biggest player and Badboy I said: " You're life is made off sleeping with every girl you meet whenever you want to, I bet that's all you do." For a moment I think I saw hurt in his eyes but that quickly changed to proudness." Indeed, and you don't think that's more interesting then everything else in the world?" Ew. Ew. Ew. "Shut up."
When I came home that night I couldn't help but think about what he said about me. Is it weird that I'm hurt cause he thinks I'm a nerd? Do I look like a nerd?
