Prologue

It was an average day to Rachael McLain, it was sunny not too much traffic and as usual Lauren was blowing up her phone. She had no idea that 20 years from now she would look back at this day and think of it as the best day of her life.

Rachael was a senior in high school and was in the weird clique. She was pretty even though she wore glasses and never wore anything heavier than a stroke of mascara and eyeliner. Even though she had boyfriends they were always jerks and abused her. She was one of the brightest students in her tech school. She studied Veterinary technology and no one could give out as much information as she could. But Rach' was always to shy/awkward to make the information flow from her brain to her mouth, so she stuck with Lauren.

Lauren Evergreen on the other hand was an average student but that is how her and Rach' became best friends. Lauren was also pretty but not a natural pretty like Rach' was. Not to say that she wore a ton of make-up but she wore more make-up than Rachel even owned which is not that much.

Oh and I forgot to mention that they both like One direction a lot. Rach' liked Niall, Liam and Louis the best where as Lauren liked Harry and Zayn.
