Chapter 13

"What?" Harry asked.

    "Don't worry about it" I said.

    "Hey, what restaurants are along the way?" Niall asked

    "There is a sweet Lucy's and the Golden corral's and at Texas roadhouse", I replied

    "What is a Sweet Lucy's and a Golden Corral", asked Louis

    "Golden Corral is a buffet and Sweet Lucy's is a barbecue place, both are pretty good." I replied.

    "You had me at buffet", Niall said.

    "Okay let me just turn at the next exit and we can all have lunch. Sound like a plan?"

    "Yup!" Everyone chimed. Going back to my conversation with Niall, "Did you figure it out yet?"

    "Unfortunately, no."

    "Figure out what?", asked Harry. I glanced at Niall briefly to see him looking at me.

    "If you want, you can tell them", I told Niall.

    "It's okay. It's none of their business... Or is it?"

    "I can't tell you unless we are at the zoo." I replied smirking at the road.

    "Someone just tell me what is going on" Louis said in a pouty voice.

    "Ok I will tell you, just stop pouting! Niall and I were texting back-and-forth and he asked me if I had a crush on one of you guys and I said yes. Now he is trying to figure out who, all he knows is that it is someone from the band and it's not Louis Zayn or Harry."

     Harry started laughing immediately, then Louis, Zayn and Lauren joined in. Liam had a grin on his face as he realised that I might have a crush on him. Niall, confused and looked at me all I could do was blush and keep driving.

    "I don't get it what are you guys laughing at", Niall said. And by saying this he inturn made everyone who was laughing laugh harder, he even made Liam chuckle.

    "Do you want me to spell it out for him", Louis asked.

    "Nope, if he doesn't figure it out at the zoo then I will tell him," I said turning into Golden Corral's parking lot.

    "You might be better if you show him who it is," Zayn stated knowing it would make Niall fidgity. When we got out of the car it felt good to stretch my right knee. I only felt the pain for a second as I felt knee buckle. I was on my way to the ground when I felt someone catch me I turned and saw that it was a concerned Niall.

    "You okay" he asked me.

    "Yeah it happens a lot, you get used to it," I said making sure my knee was still in it's socket.

    "Hey is everything okay back there?" Liam called realizing I was no longer with the group and in awkward position of half falling.

    "Yeah, my knee was just acting up again", I said.

    "Do you want us to wait" Lauren asked unconcerened at the everyday ordeal, but her input made everyone else stop.

    "No go ahead inside I will be there soon, I'm just gonna get my knee brace." I said to Lauren.

    "Do you want me to do something be a crutch or-" Niall started before I cut him off "Would you go in the trunk of my car and get my knee brace" I said as I handed him my keys.

    "Sure not a problem. But you need to get off that knee so it doesn't swell more than it already has." he carries me to the hood of my car and gently places me down. Then Niall goes around to the back of my car to open the trunk and pulled out my knee brace.

    "The part with the writing goes on the bottom." I said

    "I know" he said without ever looking up.

    "Strap it from the bottom-""I know", he interupted looking up, amused by my confused expression. "I have to do this about two weeks or so. I tore a tendon in my knee and after my surgery it still acts up", he said looking up after fixing my knee brace.

    I thank him shyly and start getting down slowly so I didn't hurt myself. "better?" he said looking at me making sure I didn't fall again. I nod and then suggest that we go inside to eat. Niall and I looked down at our hands for a brief second when I noticed it I gave his hand a small reassuring squeeze. As we walked to the resturant Niall slowed me down to whisper in my ear " I know", Me being me I turn my head to show him my confusion but he was well on his way to kiss cheek, inturn making our lips touch.

They kissed! Well kind of.

What will Liam think?!
