Niall whispered " I know" into my ear and I ended up turning into the kiss he was about to put on my cheek making us lock lips. Ok back to the story.

Rach's POV

His lips were nice for the brief second they were on mine but no fireworks maybe it was because I wasn't really trying to kiss Niall. I pulled away first and am pretty sure that I am as bright red as a tomato. But as I looked at Niall he seemed to be elated that I didn't vomit or slap him.

He was smiling wide with no signs of stopping. Then he surprised me by picking me up spinning me around in the air to kiss me again. Again I couldn't give much of a response due to being in shock. But that didn't stop Niall he was kissing every part of my face until we heard wolf whistling coming the entrance of the building. It was none other than Louis and Harry. I was pretty sure I was a new color on the color wheel and Niall was just smiling in pride.

I couldn't help but think if Liam and Lauren saw us 'kissing'.

Niall helped me inside and I hobbled to get a cup from the beginning of the line. Even though the scenes of minutes ago were playing in my head I knew I had to talk to Liam about the black out this morning. I looked around but couldn't find him.

"Where's Liam" I spoke up

"Bathroom" Lauren said in a bored manner.

"Oh there he is" Louis said. As he said that Liam finally came into view with a grin on his face. It confused me but then again there is a chance that he didn't see the kiss. Or did he?

When it came time to pay, my phone rang so I couldn't argue when Liam payed for everyone but I gave him the stink eye. As I answered my phone i tried to be Kind of quietly cuz I know it's work.

"Hello?"

'Hey Rach would it be possible for you to come by work today we kind of have an issue that needs to be handled and only you can do it. '

"Umm yeah I am heading that way after lunch I'm sure I can stop into help why what happened"

'Well we were having the grounds keeper do some repair work in the big hedgehog enclosure and he didn't pick up all of the rusty nails and PJ ended up stepping on one of them and now it is swollen and full of pus'

"Oh, my poor baby! Umm get PJ out of there for now so he doesn't get into any more fights and I will calm him down after lunch if that's ok"

Niall gives me a curious look.

'Yeah that's fine see you then. Love Ya!'

"Love ya too bye kris"

I end the call as we are seated. I look at Niall but he looks at me like he is gonna cry and has a hurt expression all over his face.

"Niall what's wrong?"

"You, you are a cold heartless piece of..... Work"

I look at him in shock wasn't he just kissing me minutes ago?

"I knew you weren't that genuine. I knew it. You were just acting like everyone else. I bet the black out was a set up too. How could I be so blind. Well I got to hand it to you, you are a great actress Rach. The best I've seen in years. I just can't believe you led me on like that. And look at you. You can't even come up with an excuse. You're pathetic!" his face even more red with emotion

"What are you talking about Niall " I said on the verge of tears.

"Wow Rach don't even try to play it off we all heard your conversation with your beloved Chris" Lauren attacked me.

Then it clicked.

" I don't want to be where I'm not wanted but before I go I think I should tell you that Kris K-R-I-S is my cousin that works the nocturnal department at the zoo that we were going to after lunch SHE told me that PJ the hedgehog stepped on a nail and his foot is now infected. And I wasn't acting not at all but it's not like it matters what say anyway you will believe what you want. And I may be pathetic but at least I am not a liar and at least I'm not a jerk. " tears were steaming down my face. I got up to leave and walked away but me being an emotional eater I just picked up a plate and picked out food that appealed to me and sat in the most remote spot I could find. When I finished I got up to leave but then I heard a familiar voice calling me.

"Miss you forgot your wallet on the table!"

"Thanks Gino"

"Rach is that you?"

"Yeah it's me"

" rough day?"

I nodded

"You wanna talk about it"

I shook my head no

"You probably think I'm pathetic too for crying"

"No. I have known you for so many years that I know you only cry about important stuff. I know that you are strong and a lovely person not pathetic in anyway. And I know that if I didn't love my girlfriend to death I would be with you so don't let him get to you."

"I never said it was a him who called me pathetic " I retorted

"If it was a girl you would have brushed it off as if it was an ant of an insult."

"True thanks for everything but I got to go" I said as I hugged him and left to go sit in my car to wait for the rest of the group to get back to my car.
