Wedding bells were ringing! The day had come! Yes, indeed it is our wedding day. We settled on the idea of October wedding 5 months ago. It just made the most sense to us. October 6! There was just something about that. It just sound so good to us. I was ready and I just wanted to be Mrs. Casey.

I was at the church waiting for the wedding to start. I was just sitting there thinking about all our memories. We've been through so much so far. It has all been the best years of my life. I was ready for what was going to come next. Antonio walked in " hey.. sis!" I was still thinking about everything. Antonio sat down next to me " Hello... Gabby!!" I smiled and looked over at him " Sorry Antonio... I was just thinking.." He looked at me " you okay.." I smiled " I'm great.. Happy!" He smiled " I'm so happy for you... Matt is a great guy... I'm just so proud of you! Your a great firefighter and a great sister.." I smiled!

I walked down the aisle and my dad just stood by me. This was all so surreal. The vows came and things were so real.

Matt said his vows first and I couldn't believe everything. This is happiness. He smiled... Gabby! You are the strongest woman I have ever meant. You go for what you want and always make me proud. Everything you do makes me think about what life is going forward. You are my best friend! When your away from me.. I miss you so incredibly much. I want to live our life full of happiness and hard work. I know we have that because it's what we do. Forever and always!!"

I smiled and started to cry " Matt! I love you! I always have... and I always will. When we first met, I knew that. You were always like a best friend to me. The thing that's changed is us. We've come closer and we've become more of each other. I'm happy to have you in my life. You scare the hell out of me sometimes.. but I love that. I know you will save people and do the job.. day in and out. You taught me that.. It's the job that is a part of us.. but we are more than that. Thanks for making my life more! I will be here with you forever and always.

We both smiled and held hands! We both said " I do!"

At the reception..

It was the time for the maid of honor and Best man speeches. Severide gave his best man speech " I've know Matt for a while now. We weren't always this close. I realized who casey was. A good guy and a great firefighter. Were a team now... and Gabby she's a real fighter. She became one of the best and were proud because of that. They are both real friends!"

Brett gave her speech " I haven't know Matt and Gabby for long. I've known everyone for a year.. pretty much! I was only on the job for a shift when Gabby and Matt were engaged. I saw how they worked and that was that. I didn't know much or even that they were a couple. I was new to the family , I saw Gabby work. After that I knew who they were. I knew that she was going to be a good friend. They are! The best people I've known. I know everything for them going further is going to be even better!"

I was just happy to be married and Call my self Matt Casey's wife!
