Lanes POV
I was awaken by my little brother kai because i heard little giggles."kai what are you doing" I asked "wake up laney today you will find your mate" i scoffed "yea how do you know that for sure". He just smiled and ran out of my room I chuckled,but i didn't feel like getting up so I just laid back down and i wondered what my mate will look like. I hope he's beautiful. Yes i am gay but i have to keep it secret because who would want a gay Alpha. My thoughts were cleared when i heard my mom call for me downstairs. I got dressed and headed downstairs to be greeted by my cheerful mother. "Good morning mom" i said tiredly she looked at me and said "morning Lane i called you down because your dad wants to see you in his office" I sighed because i knew it would be about me finding my mate. I grabbed an apple and started to walk outside until i saw my beta Justin running towards me, he stopped and caught his breath before he spoke "Guess what Lane" he said cheerfully "what" i asked. When he told me he found his mate i felt sad because my beta found a mate before me. Suddenly i was taken out of my daze when i felt a stinging sensation on my cheek. I looked up and saw Justin glaring at me "Lane i would like you to meet her later" he asked before he took off. I stood there for a moment before i started walking towards my dad's office. As i reached the wooden door i knocked "Come in" said my father i stepped in his office and sat down in one of his office chairs. "Son you may be aware of why i called you in this morning " said my dad behing his desk i nodded quickly before he spoke again " when you go into town and find your mate come back and aware us" he said heartfully until i spoke " what if i dont find my mate " i said sadly. He glared at me when he spoke " son i promise you will find your mate today i can feel it". I walked back out of his office and grabbed my.truck keys and went out to my black duelly. I hopped in and started the ignition,i pulled out of the driveway and headed out to town. While i drove to town i passed by a coffee shop and i pulled into the parking space. I walked through the double door and smelt a sweet smell of vanilla and mint. I followed the scent and came close to a counter thats where i saw the most beautiful mate. I looked at him and memorized his features,he had brown hair and bluish color eyes and his lips were a soft color pink. I just stared until he spoke "how can i help you" i blinked a couple times and answered "yea um.. can i get a vanilla latte" when i looked back at him i saw him checking me out. I chuckled when i saw him blush and went to the back. I can't believe i had a guy mate. I was brought out of my thoughts when he spoke "here's your latte" i smirked and thanked him and walked away until i stopped and winked at his cute self and i left.
