Mason's P.O.V
I wasn't sure where the idea of a movie night came from, I just needed to see if Justin could actually go ahead with any plans he made. I also wanted to see him more, but I decided he didn't need to know that.

The clock on my wall read 7:45pm, meaning I had approximately fifteen minutes until Justin should be arriving. I decided to quickly go upstairs to take a shower and get changed into something more comfortable.

In my bedroom, I grabbed some shorts and a white t shirt before taking one of the white fluffy towels and walking into the bathroom.

While I was in the shower, my mind drifted to pointless questions, theories and scenarios as I lathered myself with soap. I was taken out of my thought when I heard what seemed to be constant knocking on my apartment door.

I turned the shower off and got out quickly and panicked, I didn't have time to get changed to so I hurriedly wrapped a towel around my body and rushed to the front door, careful not to slip because of my wet feet on the tiled floor.

I jogged to the door. I hugged my body and kept behind it as I opened it to reveal a smiling Justin wearing sweatpants and a simple black t shirt. He still looked impressive.

I saw his eyes gaze down my body and his eyes widened. I noticed he gulped, his Adam's apple moved up before sliding down again. It took a while but his face showed a big grin.

"Am I interrupting something?" He smirked, leaning against the door frame with a noticeably full bag in his hand.

"Shut up. I was just taking a shower." I rolled my eyes at him

"And whatever you do in there is your business, but I can always lend a hand if you need it." He nodded at me before letting himself in.

"I'm going to ignore that and go get changed. I'll be back in a few minutes, make yourself comfortable." I smiled lightly, not exactly at Justin since he was too busy looking around my apartment.

I ran to my bedroom and, as quickly as I could, I changed into my comfy shorts and white T-shirt that was a little too big for me, I walked out into the living room. He was walking around the room, looking at the photos that sat happily in their frames.

As he continued to look around, he caught me in his sight. He instantly smiled.

"Hey, I like your place."

"Thanks, I like it too." I chuckled as I sat on the couch.

"How come there's only pictures of you with, what I'm guessing is your family? What about friends?" He questioned as he look at the pictures on the walls and on the mantelpiece.

"Oh, I don't know. I don't really have many to be honest." I laughed lightly.

"Why not?" He frowned as he sat next to me, moving his arm over the back of the couch.

"Don't look at me like that, and don't feel sorry for me. I just lost touch with everyone after high school, I wasn't interested in making fake friends that you're only friends with because you're forced to see them five days a week. In high school, I just focused on passing and getting out of there as soon as I could."

"So, there's no one?"

"I have a few friends that I see now and then plus my best friend who work I work with but besides that, not really." I shrugged like it was nothing, because it literally was nothing. It didn't bother me.

Justin coughed and I looked up at him.

"What?" I asked.

"And what about me? Am I or am I not, your friend?"
