"Hey Samantha, can ya do me a favor?" I looked up from my book as Taiga walked up to me, holding a basket of herbs.

"Sure." I grunted, getting up. It had been a couple of days since Orca, Akatosh and Frosty had arrived, so I had been healing well, fortunately much quicker than a normal human. Taiga held out the herbs to me.

"Can you take these to the camp for me? I gotta collect some more and this one's already full." I took it from him and got up, walking slowly to go outside, only to turn the corner a few always later and careen into Seto.

"Aflac!" I yelped, almost falling when he caught me, tilting his head quizzically.

"Wat?" He questioned, helping me stand back up. I shrugged, giving him a small perky grin.

"I dunno." I crouched down to pick up a wolfsbane when he suddenly stopped me.

"Wait." He waved his hand, and the plant glowed purple before hovering up and into the basket. "It's poisonous to humans." He explained, grabbing a thin blade of barley and dropping it in with the deadly plant. I nodded slowly in understanding as he helped me back to my feet, picking up the basket for me. "How about I walk with you?" He offered. I wanted to say no, but then I realized I couldn't be mad at him forever, so I went ahead and mutely nodded.

He walked me outside, carrying the herbs for me and refusing to let me have them even after I pestered him, so I gave up and just walked by his side to the dragon camp. To my dismay, Akatosh was the one guarding the entrance today. He gave us a disgusted look, a growl emitting in the back of his throat.

"What do you want this time, Sorcerers?" He sneered grudgingly. Seto pulled back a little in surprise at the creature's rudeness, whilst I glowered at him.

"Taiga sent me here, with these herbs." I replied in the same tone. He scoffed, sitting up and curling his tail a little closer to his talons.

"So he sent two filthy magic practitioners to me?" He hissed. I spotted Seto's eyes briefly flash purple at his insults to us, mainly me.

"Take it easy, dragon." He warned in a tight tone. "That's my sister you speak to." I felt glad that he was protecting me, but I really did not feel like arguing here and now, so I gently tugged on his sleeve in warning.

"Seto..." I warned quietly, seeing him ball his hands in fists, glaring at Akatosh, who held his gaze until I heard someone yell, "Hey I was just joking- REEEE DON'T HURT ME!!!" I turned in time to see Adam scrambling up a tree, Ty and Jason already up above him. He had just climbed up high enough when Kyoto snapped his jaws up at him in a jump, almost grabbing his shirt's scruff. He yelped out in alarm, almost losing his grip on a branch when Ty leaned forward and grabbed his sleeve, hauling him up until he splayed across the branch, his head resting in his lap.

"Geez dude, how much do you weigh?" He grumbled. Adam grinned guiltily as Kyoto hissed up at them, flapping his wings but staying on the ground. I turned back to see that Seto and Akatosh were having a not-so-nice chat, lost in an argument. I weaved my fingers through my hair, tugging on it as I felt the stress begin to pile up. No, I can't lose it here, not now...

"WHAT IN SOUVERNGUARDE'S NAME HAPPENED!?!?!?" I sighed in relief as Wildstar landed amidst the chaos, looking as irritated as I felt. "I leave for two days and the place already looks like it got ambushed!" She roared, flapping her wings for effect. She twisted her neck to glare at Kyoto, her eyes glancing up to see the three guys peeking down at her nervously.

"Kyoto, why'd you chase them up the freakin' tree!?!?!?" She snarled. Kyoto shrank back under her harsh glare, folding his wings tightly to his body in submission.

"He kept on asking way too many questions!" He protested. I heard Akatosh mutter something about Sorcerers being hot-headed, which started up the bickering between him and Seto again. I rolled my eyes. Men.

"The next time this happens, the dragon that chases them up a tree will be executed!" She threatened, straining up to gently grab Adam, Ty and Jason by the back collars of their shirts, gently lowering them down onto the ground. She then turned to glare at the two bickering Sorcerers as Ty, Adam and Jason quickly scampered over to me to hide behind me.

"Very mature." I scoffed. Adam rolled his eyes.

"You weren't chased by a freakin' dragon." Ty muttered. Wildstar marched over to Seto and Akatosh, bearing her fangs.

"Akatosh, Seto, shut the frick up right now or you're both dead!!!!!" She roared, immediately shutting them up. Akatoah glared at Seto once more before he snorted and walked away, heading for the University. Seto glared at him before he made his way over to me, and I immediately hugged him.

"Ay you baka." I grumbled in his ear. He scoffed quietly, grinning.

"Yes, I'm a baka and I'm proud of it." I chuckled and looked back up at Wildstar, who had made her way to the other side of camp in her mortal form to a someone flat on his back. I frowned and broke away from the hug, taking a few steps closer to get a better look.

"What happened?" Wildstar asked to the three dragons beside the unconscious mortal.

"He got stabbed by a DarkWing. We tried healing him, but the effects have made him practically deaf, and his vision is likely only a blur of colors, judging from how unfocused his eyes are." Everest explained, most of them shuffling to the person's other side. I finally got a good look at who it was.

"When did this happen?" Wildstar murmured, picking up some juniper berries from his grip.

"He was collecting herbs I believe." I widened my eyes. No doubt about it.

It was Taiga, and he'd been ambushed.
