Nicole's POV

I can't believe that I'm finally going to get to go to the YouTubers' University! I've been working so hard to get here, and here I am, standing in front of the road that leads to it near the park. I brushed my blonde hair behind me and adjusted my grip on my bag of items. Just for like recording and spare clothes. Right now I'm wearing my favorite outfit: My shirt's covered by my purple hoodie, and I'm wearing blue jeans and black shoes with purple lacing.

I sighed in my pleasant mood and started walking along the road when I heard a bang! come from the forest. That sounded like an explosion? I wondered, picking up the pace until I started jogging in the direction of the sound. I gradually slowed to a walk as I went past a few trees, then I burst out of the forest, only to halt in alarm. There were dragons everywhere. Dragons. Of all things. I stared in utter confusion, then spotted someone running over to me. I started backing up, my heart hammering in my chest. I thought this was just a school!

"Hey, you there!" The person called out. I yelped in alarm and whirled around, taking off. This person was like a master of the dragons or something, because they weren't attacking him. For all I know, he could set them on me! "Wait!" The person called out again. "I bid you no harm mortal!" Mortal!? I skidded to a halt in confusion, then snapped out of it and turned around, holding my bag in an aggressive posture, ready to beat up the pursuer. The pursuer was a tall guy, which didn't make me feel any better as he slowed to a stop a few feet before me.

"Uh, hi my name's Taiga." He said awkwardly. I narrowed my eyes at him and jiggled my bag, almost daring him to come closer. He held his hands up in a placate gesture. "I'm not gonna hurt you relax, some of my friends 'live' here." I slowly let the bag slide down to my shoulder, still holding my 'Tough Levi' stance.

"Alright..." I replied slowly. "I'm Nicole." He dipped his head.

"Nice to meet ya Nicole. Oh, are you a new colleague of the University?" I nodded, and pointed in a direction, away from the dragon camp I had witnessed. "The building's down that way, if you find a girl named Samantha, then you'll have the best tour guide yet, well besides the Professor. I wish you luck." With that, he turned around and headed back to the dragon camp, leaving me alone with my pack. I sighed and readjusted the grip on my pack and started walking in the direction Taiga had pointed out.

Samantha's POV

I felt warm, and safe, which was far better than I had felt in so long. I was aware of another heartbeat that beat slightly slower than mine, which tapped away at the peaceful silence. I shifted around to free my joints of their soreness as I opened my eyes, spotting disheveled brown bangs in front of me. I remembered what had happened early this morning, and I smiled faintly, glad that Ty had agreed to stay with me. I slowly lifted my head off of his chest, easing myself in a sitting position, cautiously in hopes to avoid waking him up. I yawned and did a small stretch, glancing at the clock. It was two thirty in the afternoon. Wow, we slept the morning away, I thought. And I'm usually the Morning Bird.

I slowly scooted over to the edge of the bed and eased myself off of it, pausing for a moment to gaze fondly at Ty, who was still peacefully sleeping. I'm so glad I'm with him, I decided, for sure. I gave out one more silent yawn before quietly slunk over to the partially open door and slipped through the doorway. I tiptoed down the stairs and then went over to the kitchen, yawning again as I grabbed some batter to make pancakes. Oh, and we have that 'date' with Adam. I sighed in exhaustion and used my free hand to toy with my bedraggled hair, feeling the tufts of my bangs that were sticking in my face.

"Boy am I in for a treat..." I muttered sarcastically. "Goddangit Adam Dahlberg."
