Soul was working. She had a kid she adopted she was only 5, her name was Daniella or for short, Dani. They own a restaurant.
"Mommy who's that lady over there in the green shirt crying ?
Soul looked where Dani was looking. She seem Brenda
"Dani go get her and bring her to the back room so none of the photographers come here " soul said
"Okay " Dani said
Dani jumped over the counter and walked over to Brenda. Dani had long light brown brown hair with blueish green eyes, she was three foot two inches tall, she was wearing a purple sundress with a white ribbon on her hair and white flats. She tapped Brenda on her shoulder. Brenda looked at the little girl
"Hi. My mom told me to bring you in the back room for safety " Dani said
Brenda nodded and followed Daniella to the back room.
"Mary take my shift please " soul said
"Got it boss" Mary said
Soul went in the back room and looked at Brenda
"The news huh " soul said quietly
Brenda nodded
"Fuck the news I know Butch and I ask him everyday if you were okay and you was. today you have a concert he forgot to remind you " soul said
Brenda wiped her eyes and nodded
"Fuck the news " soul said
"Soul two girls are here along with a couple others " Mary said
"Bring them in here " soul said
Brenda got a message on her phone she looked at it
Mom<3 : Brenda... Your father passed away today...
Tears streamed down Brenda's face
"I-I need to go soul. I'm gonna be late to a concert if I don't go " Brenda said quietly
Brenda ran out and ran past everyone
"Wait Brenda !" Jocelyn said
