I walked down the hallways with my friends, we all laugh and giggle and are enjoying our lives. I mean what else is new? Even though my friends are so close to me, there is just one thing about me that they don't know, and they will never know...I am a fallen angel...Sounds crazy right? That's what I thought at first but I had grown used to myself being this way. My wings come out when I want them too, and that has only happened a few times, they also come out of my back whenever something is upsetting me. But the worst is that, when ever rain touches my back, they sprawl out also. It's easy to hide them from everyone as long as its not raining, but sometimes I feel a little awkward around my perfect cheer team because they don't have anything to hide. But I do.
I guess I zoned out a little too much in my mind because Ashley snapped me out of it "Scarlet!" She shrieked.
"What?" I said.
"I asked you, do we have practice today?" She said while blowing a bubble with her gum and then popping it.
"Isn't it supposed to rain?" I said.
"Yeah? So?" She said giving a tiny bit of attitude.
"Then we cant, we cant practice in the rain, that will screw up a lot of things, lets just double practice tomorrow or something?" I told her. She nodded and responded with "K" and then she walked away with most of the cheer team except Molly.
"Hey, Scarlet" She said in a little whisper.
"Yeah Molly?" I said to her.
"Wait, never mind just forget about it." She said and then she walked away to join the rest of the cheer team. I shrugged it off and walked to my first class. I sat in the back corner alone and took out my sketch pad. I always loved to draw and write, it was an enjoying activity for me. It didn't take long until all the jocks entered the classroom and they sat next t0, across from me. They talked and I giggled like the idiot I was supposed to pretend to be. Then the teacher told us all to be quiet because she had an announcement to make.
"Okay class, so we have a new student who will be joining our school, his name is Seth. Come on in." She said. And then he walked in the room, he had black swoopy hair, bright crystal blue eyes, pale but yet creamy skin, he was wearing a band shirt? And skinny jeans with black converse. He had his lip pierced with a silver ring, and I was not going to lie, he was very cute.
"Please be nice and welcome Seth to our school." She said happily. While Seth searched the room with his blue eyes he locked on mine, I smiled to him but he didn't smile back. He then took a seat in the front of the classroom, which was 4 seats in front of me. But I felt bad because my jocks and friends were almost surrounding him. Poor little kid, he might be scarred for life.
No one bothered him or talked to him at all, but before I knew it class was already over. The bell rung and I got my books and stood up, then I looked up to see Jack looking at me. I smiled to him and I blushed a tiny bit.
"What?" I asked giggling.
"You're just so cute." He told me. I smiled even wider.
"Well thank you Jack, and you aren't too bad yourself" I winked at him. He smiled and grabbed his books and walked out of the classroom. I then started to leave and I noticed that Seth was still in the classroom. I walked over to his desk and asked him if he need any help to find his next class.
"No." He said barely above a whisper.
"You sure?" I asked him. He then looked at me again and nodded his head no again. I stopped asking and said good bye and walked out of the room and into the hallway.
