A Blank Page

A Blank Page is all l see

And already l want to fill it

My life is like an empty dream
That has no real-found purpose

Except when l look into your eyes
And that's when the words appear

That's when l feel the dream l'm in
Starts to have a meaning

And that a life with nothing in it
Is something more than fairytales

I'm half-asleep here in your arms
But more awake than I've ever been

And love's sweet labors-battles lost and won-
Are my heart's true favors

My life is blank
With nothing on it
So l have nothing to give to you

But if you want it

If you'll take it

I have a sweet heart for you
