The Child

*Carlisle*

I just got home from work at the hospital. Me and my family live in Chicago Illinois, we just moved here a few years ago. Almost all my family is out hunting right now. Only me, Edward and Rosalie stayed behind.

Edward is playing his piano, Rosalie is doing her hair, again. While I'm just in my office doing paper work.

It is currently November, not much sun which is good. We are in a house that is at least far away from sun surrounded by some trees for shade, and is a little far from the city.

All of the sudden I get a call from...Alice. I respond almost immediately.

"Alice? What is it?" I asked piling my papers in a neat stack.

"Carlisle? Is Edward with a baby? Or thinking about doing anything with a baby?" She asked worried.

"Nooo? Alice, what are you talking about?" I asked confused. I could hear Alice sigh over the phone.

"I had a vision. Edward was holding a baby, smiling. He was talking to it, but I never saw the child. I only saw brown eyes and blue eyes." She said frustrated. A baby? With Edward?

Edward must have heard my thoughts because he was in my office confused in an instant.

"When will this...baby...arrive?" I asked curious.

"I don't know." She said still frustrated.

"Interesting. Well call us if there is anything new." I said looking at Edward.

"Of course." She said and we hanged up. Rosalie walked in with a confused yet excited face.

"What's going on? And what about a mysterious child?" She asked.

"Alice had a vision. She saw Edward holding a baby, smiling and talking to it. Alice never saw the child, she only saw brown eyes and blue eyes. She can't see when the baby will arrive though." I said getting up.

"A baby? Why would I be holding a baby?! " Edward exclaimed.

"I don't know, but we should be on guard. I'm guessing the others are coming back." I said. We looked at each other wondering was this a bad thing or a good thing?

*Manny Moon*

I'm king Manny Moon, of the Spirit World. Also known as the man in the moon. I have a wife named Idun -who is now Queen- and a new born baby daughter. My daughter was born with powers of ice and snow. Now Pitch is trying to take over the Spirit World and he wants our daughter. He wants to raise her to become evil, he might kill her.

"We have to hide her. There's no other option. Idun, she is in danger! Pitch could kill her!" I yelled as my wife Idun, hugged our 3 week yr old new born daughter-Elsaira- tightly. Elsa for short.

"I just can't do it Manny! She's my daughter and a part of me will be gone if she's not with me!" Idun sobbed holding a sleeping Elsa.

"We have to! There's no other choice! It hurts me to let her go too Idun, but it's for her safety." I said placing my hand on her shoulder.

"How is she safe with vampires?! " Idun exclaimed.

"I've monitored the Cullen's for a while now and they seem like good people. They don't drink human blood and they won't hurt anyone. Trust me Idun, she is safe. Would I put my only daughter in danger?" I asked her caressing Elsa's pale cheek.
