The Search For Nightmares

Everyone is rounded up here. Bella is with Edward while sitting on his lap and coloring, she wasn't really paying any attention to us. Everyone was seated in their chairs and Carlisle was at one end of the table with Esme by his side sitting nex to him. Jack at the other end.

I was sitting next to Alice and she started explaining her vision about the yellow eyes.

"Pitch." Jack said mostly to himself.

"He's in New York, he thinks that when someone responds wildly or defensive in a different and mysterious way rather than regular parents worry, that will give him the clue on where she is." Jack said serious. I could feel Jack's anger towards Pitch.

"Does Pitch know you come here?" Alice asked him curious.

"No. That's why I don't come a a lot of times each month. Manny's plan is that if I don't come here very often, then that will fool him into thinking I'm just traveling like always. Its worked for years now, I think it might be breaking down." Jack says and sighed in frustration.

"Why is he doing this?" Esme asked with a bit of sadness in her since she didn't like that they were looking for her daughter.

"He wants her. Her power. Her. All to himself." Jack said simply and she frowned, Carlisle held her hand. Edward was feeling rage against this Pitch. The only thing restraining him on the chair and making him feel calmer was Bella sitting on his lap. I sent waves of calmness so he doesn't loose control of his anger and hurt Bella accidentally.

"I won't Jasper." Edward whispered to me and I knew he wouldn't but it was still not something we could risk.

"From Arendelle, Manny could see how he has been terrorizing New York, trying to find her. He's been giving the children nightmares, because with the nightmares, he can see the child's and the adults worst fear. That helps him track her down and track whoever is hiding her. Whoever has the fear of losing her, is the one that's hiding her." Jack said and I frowned. He wants us as well.

"He doesn't know she has a different identity, he doesn't know she has a different name, he doesn't know you have her, all he knows is that someone is hiding her and he wants to find out who and where." Jack said clearing that up.

"Who is hiding who?" A little voice asked and it was Bella.

"No one, my dear." Esme said and got up and walked to Bella.

"Come on, time for your bath, dinner, and then off to sleep you go." Esme said and picked her up. Edward collected her color pencils and put them in her pencil box.

Esme walked out and took Bella upstairs for her bath.

"What's next?" I asked and Carlisle sighed.

"We have to protect her as much as we can. Limit her being outside if we hear that this Pitch Black is coming closer to Colorado." Carlisle said and Jack looked at him.

"If he gets closer, and you protect her like that, he's going to think something is wrong or the fact that you are hiding something." Jack said.

"So what do we do? We can't let him see her." Rosalie as stated serious.

Suddenly Edward spaced off. Meaning he was reading a mind.

"That could work." Edward said looking at Jack.

"What?" Emmett asked impatient.

"Jack had an idea. One that can protect Bella and maybe even us." Edward said and looked at everyone.

"I think, that if he wants Bella, he's starting to search, right? Well, he's going to search the world. First he'll start with the U.S., then my guess is he will go to Mexico, then Brazil, and so on. He's searching every continent and every corner." Jack explained and we nodded for him to continue.
