Niall's POV:
I woke up with a splitting headache. The walls were painted bright white that made it even worse. Was I in the hospital? Then I remembered. Isabell and I got in a fight. I ran away. There was no where I planned on going. A little time was all I needed. When Isabell texted me I ignored them until the third one. That one was really long.
"Please, just hear me out. After Liam and I drifted apart no one watched out for me. Not even my parents. I protected myself. When I met Drew he started taking care of me. When he died I just stopped believing people should take care of me. It was proof that I wasn't good for people. That I hurt them more than anything. Then I met you. You showed me to trust again. Slowly I started to be less independent. The reason-"
That's when I crashed. I was to busy reading to notice I was swerving off the road. The last thing I remember was hitting the light pole and flying into the windshield.
Where was my phone? I needed to read the rest of that text.
"He can't be dead!" Was that Liam? "Niall has to be alive." What in the world?
"I'm sorry sir," A softer voice answered. "The papers say he is dead."
What the hell? I'm alive and kicking. Why were they saying I died? Painfully I stood up out of bed. Someone had to set them straight. Every step caused my head to throb. Sure enough Liam was arguing with a young nurse, just out of school from the looks of it.
"Niall!" He gave her an "I told you so" look and ran up to me. He hugged me so hard I grunted in pain. "Sorry" Liam let go of me and looked at the nurse. "I told you he's alive!"
"Mr. Niall Horan?" She asked dumbfounded.
"That's me."
"I apologize sirs," she told us both. "Something must've gone wrong with the paperwork." Obviously." But you're awake! Good! How are you feeling?" Her fake enthusiasm was slightly annoying.
"Like someone hit me over the head with a brick."
"Well it says you came here unconscious. I'm going to find the doctor and fix this. Then I'll see about some pain medication." She walked away in search of the doctor. Can't say I wasn't happy to get rid of her. If Liam was here where was everybody else? Where was Isabell?
"Let's get you back to the room." Liam ushed me there and made sure I laid back down. "There is a lot of explaining to do. The boys are our to get Isabell. She ran off. Probably just to my car. I bet she's on the phone with Jesy right now. She actually thinks you're dead." Liam rambled on. He had been scared it was written all over his face. "She has your phone by the way."
"Wait, what's going on?" He was right when he said there was a lot to explain.
"The guy who stopped by the accident scene, Charles Crow, called me cause he saw the open text. Isabell answered it, thinking you were calling. So we came here and the next thing I hear is her yelling a the grumpy nurse at the desk that she's your "fucking" girlfriend. Her words not mine."
It made me laught. I could just imagine it. I wanted to yell "Hell yeah she's my fucking girlfriend!" The fact that Liam hadn't yet finished stopped me.
"Charles figured out who she was and that we were with her so he came up and told us what happened. Isabell came back so he explained again, gave her your phone and asked about you. The nurse had told her you died. While we were all freaking out she ran out. Zayn, Harry, and Louis volunteered to go find her while I got things figured out." It made sense. He was by far the most level headed of us all.
