Don't Forget (Niall Horan)

Chapter 2: Crush

Isabell's POV:

"Isabell, you should have some to!" My boyfriend told me. Drew was already drunk when I got to his house. I was late, everybody had been here for awhile. We never had really big parties. There was only about fifteen people. That's just how we liked it. Drew handed me a Bud Light and drug me towards the couch.

"Sit down." He told me, a little hyper. Nobody could really tell what he was going to do when he drank. Hell, Drew was unpredictable while sobar. That was one of the things I loved the most about him. That and his gorgeous body.

"Why? What are you doing?" I asked him, playing along in his game.

"SHHHHHHHH! Just, just trust me babe. Just trust me."  He failed to whisper. "Hey Ricky! Play the song!"

Ricky laughed, making me extreamly curious and a little nervous as to what was comming next. It only took a moment for "My Girl" to blast out of the speaker, but it wasn't the original version. Drew must have recorded it earlier. Ricky then turned it down enough for me to hear Drew singing at the top of his lungs. Drew stood in the middle of the room, with everyone watching, and sang to me.                 ********************************************************************************************************************

"Isabell, come on. It's time to get up." Dani was gently shaking me. She just left her curly hair down and was still in her p.j.s I could see why Liam like her. She was really pretty.

"I'm awake." I groaned, not actually ready to get up.

"The boys will be on the radio in five minutes. People have already tweeted about the photos that man took. You should come and listen."  After forcing myself to get up I sat down on the couch with Dani.

"And this is Josh Ryder back with One Direction!" A voice on the radio filled the room. "Man boys, I can hear those screams from here." He took a moment to chuckle with them.

"So boys, last night some pictures were posted of Niall and Liam with a girl. Apparently Harry was waiting for you. Yeah I saw the pictures. She's pretty cute, isn't she Niall?"

"Um, yeah she's cute." He said slowly. Anyone could tell he was a little surprised.

"So lets cut to the chase." Josh said. "Is there a new girl in Niall Horan's life? C'mon Niall, it's already all over twitter." To prove his point Dani showed me the twitter trends on her phones. Right in the middle was #Niall'smysterygirl.

Niall laughed before answering. It made me a little upset. Was the idea of us dating that good of a joke? Silently I cursed myself for letting it bother me. I couldn't be with him anyways. I don't deserve him.

"No there isn't. Yeah Isabell is a sweet girl, but we just met. Besides Liam would probably kill me if I went out with his baby cousin."

"Cousin? Is this true Liam?"

"Yes it is." Liam said laughing. "It's alright Niall. I won't kill you."

"Is that permission?" Josh egged them on. "Niall are you blushing?" Dani sent me a wink and playfully slapped my arm.

"Nah, like I said we just met. Maybe someday though."

"Niall's just being a gentleman." Louis chimed in.

"So to all you Niall girls out there, your safe." Josh gave a slight pause. "For now at least."

After that the topic turned to their new album. "There some cereal in the cubburd." Dani told me. "The bowls  are above the oven and silverwear is next to the dishwasher. Or you could wait a bit and we'll go out to lunch. Does a tour of London sound alright?"

I nodded and went to shower. Once I got out I dressed. First I put on my favorite dress. A light blue number with large white polka dots. It had a sweetheart neckline and was a tank-top. Then I curled my ahir, and put on some light make-up. Just some foundation, mascara, and lip gloss. It isn't like I was trying to impress anyone. Finally I put on my pair of white vans. All this time I was fooling myself. I knew I couldn't just wear that. Not with the state of y wrists. Looking at the thin scars I made myself a promise. No one has found out yet, no one will find out now. They would never understand, even I really don't sometimes I just need to. Somehow it just helps.

Niall's POV:

"Isabell is cool. Why does that surprise anyone? Why does everyone think I'm into her because of that? I mean she's fun and gorgeous. What guy wouldn't be attracted to her? That doesn't mean I love her. I know Josh was just teasing but this is gonna blow up. I just hope this doesn't make things weird between us."  I had just finished ranting to Zayn on our way to the studio.

He like the good friend he is, just nodded and listened. Finally, after knowing I was done, he spoke. "Well mate, maybe you've got to ask yourself what you think of it." We sat in silence for a few minutes, but soon we had arrived.  Happily I went in and let all of my worries fade with the new song . "K know I can't live up to him, but I hope you see me.."

3 hours later:

We had been in the studio for three hours when they came. All five of us where in the recording booth, working on the chorus. Dani was the first one I saw. She waved to us before gesturing for someone else to come in. I could only guess who it was.

Even expecting her didn't prepare me. Her long hair in curls, all dressed up. The worst part was she didn't even know what she was doing to me. That's it, I could not deny it any longer. This girl had done something to me.

"Niall, Niall." Harry snapped his fingers in my face.

"What?" I asked a little surprised. All the boys were looking at me. "Do I sound that bad?"

"No mate," Louis answered "You stopped singing."

"Oh, sorry." I ran my hand through my hair feeling right stupid. We ran through it again, this time nailing it. Harry had to stay and record some more but he asked me to grab him some coffee really quick. As if on que Zayn and Liam wanted coffe and Louis wanted tea.

"Isabell, why don't you help him?" Dani suggested to us.

"Come, on there's a coffee shop right next door we love. I'll show you." Isabell had been quiet sense they got here. Funny, she didn't seem quiet yesterday. She smiled at me and wow did it take my breath away.

"Let's go." She said, tearing my out of the trance I was lost in. I held the door open and lead her downstairs.

"So what have you and Dani been doing all day?" I asked breaking our silence.

"Dani has been showing me around a little. Not very much really."

"I see. Here it is, Jam Java. What would you like?"

"Just some hot cocoa please." Something about that was cute. It made her seem younger, innocent even.

"Isabell sat down at a table while I ordered. While waiting for the person infront of me to order I  watched her. She took an ipad out of the small backpack she'd been carying. I watched her slowly choose a song. It was quiet, but I could fainly hear it from here. "My Girl." but it wasn't the original version. Actually I had no clue who it was. Isabell lightly swayed to the music. She was somewhere completly different. It took me a minute to realize that tears were forming in her eyes. She held them back though. It broke my heart to realize that someone had hurt this girl so much.

"Um sir? How may I help you?" The girl from behind the counter asked.

"I quickly ordered the drinks, adding on a cappacino for Dani and another hot chocolate for me. By the time I was done Isabell was all right again. Now the ipad was put away adn she was just waiting. Smililing at me, she patted the seat next to her. Suddenly I wished this would take forever. I have a crush on Isabell and I don't even care.

I'm sorry it has taken me so long. Here is my excuse. I can only get on this dureing study hall and i have had plenty of huge projects and snow days. I know wtf it's spring!!! anyways hope you enjoyed it, comment away! love you all lolz -Lexie
