Hide and Seek-An Adam Pitts fanfiction *ON HIATUS*

Chapter four

I woke up from one of the best dreams ever with a massive smile on my face. I'd missed the train home after one of their gigs and was on the way to Liverpool with them... I realised I was leaning on someone;s shoulder. After looking up, I saw that it wasn't just anyone. It was Adam Pitts. Of Lawson. It wasn't a dream. I really was in a van with Lawson. I sat up and looked around to see Rebekah lying fast asleep on Ryan, who was also in a deep sleep. Katilyn was sat asleep with earphones in and possibly the best sight of all, Joel cuddled up on the other side of Adam. Everything started to sink in as I remembered what had happened the night before. Me sitting up must have woken Adam up as he looked at me smiled. "Hey," he said sleepily, "have a good sleep?"

"Yeah it was alright to say I slept in a van..." I replied, "but I'm still trying to believe that I'm actually in a van with Lawson."

He laughed at me so I shoved him playfully, "Hey! It's not funny. I wouldn't have even been able to dream this up, you know."

"I never said it was funny! But it's cool that you think so highly of me.."

"Well, I don't want you geting a big ego or anything..." I smiled sarcastically. Mine and Adam's shouting at each other was obviously too much for the others as they all started to wake up and I got a glare from Katilyn. I felt a bit guilty then because Katilyn really likes her sleep. Oops. I smiled apologetically at her and hoped she was happy enough being in a van with Lawson to ignore the fact I'd just wken her up at whatever ridiculous time in the morning it was... Joel woke up at the same time as Adam realising Joel was on his shoulder. They both looked at each other and smiled. "Jadam forever..." Joel said quietly.

Adam's POV:

I woke up when the weight on my right shoulder disappeared suddenly. I sat up in my seat and saw Emma staring into space. "Hey," I smiled at her, "have a good sleep?"

"Yeah it was alright to say I slept in a van..." she replied. I laughed inwardly at her sarcasm. "But I'm still trying to believe that I'm actually in a van with Lawson."

This time I actually laughed out loud so she shoved me on my arm and said,"Hey! It's not funny. I wouldn't have even been able to dream this up, you know."

"I never said it was funny! But it's cool that you think so highly of me.."

"Well, I don't want you geting a big ego or anything..." She smiled sarcastically at me and I realised how sarcastic Emma was. At least she's not boring... Our shouting had woken up the rest of the van who all glared at us. Except Joel who I saw was cuddling up into me. I looked at him as he woke up. he started to blush and smiled at me, "Jadam forever..."

"Well this is awkward." Emma laughed at us and the rest of the van started to laugh as well.

Emma's POV:

*the day after Lawson's Liverpool gig*

I woke up to find myself in a room I didn't recognise. I looked over at Katilyn and Rebekah who were fast asleep, lying on the floor. We had all decided that, instead of arguing over who got to sleep in the one bed, we'd put all the bedding and pillows on the floor and sleep on that. It was actually really comfy but because there was hardly any room, Rebekah's leg was on top of my arm and Katilyn' foot was right by my face. I would've gotten up and explored Lawson's flat a bit but I didnt want to wake anyone up. I picked up my phone and used it the best I could to text Adam, whose number I'd been given before the Liverpool gig.

"Hope I'm not waking you up but I'm really stuck right now... :) x"

I only had to wait 30 seconds before I got a reply back.

"Wait a minute, I'll come and get you :) x"

I smiled and laid back down to wait.

Adam's POV:

I woke up to the sound of my phone buzzing by my bed. I picked it up and smiled; I got a text from Emma.

"Hope I'm not waking you up but I'm really stuck right now... :) x"

I sighed at having to get out of bed this early but I decided I would go and help her anyway. I replied to her text with,

"Wait a minute, I'll come and get you :) x"

I was eally glad she'd put a kiss at the end because i usually get really panicky about whether to put one or two, or none at all. The others think it's a really girly thing to do, but oh well, I suppose it's different for different people isn't it? I got out of bed and went along the hallway to the spare room the girls had stayed in. I knocked on their door gently and Emma whispered from the other side, "Come in" I walked into the room to see the floor covered in duvets and pillows. I eventually found Emma hiding under a duvet with Rebekah's leg over her arm and Katilyn's foot right by her face. She smiled at me and pulled an arm out to wave at me. I leaned over everything, lifted Rebekah's leg slowly off Emma's arm and offered her my hand to help her stand up. She took it, started to stand up but just as I wasn't expecting it, pulled me down onto the floor next to her. I narrowly avoided fallng on top of her but diverted myself before I did. We both started laughing really loud so by this time the people living downstairs must have been really annoyed. There was a really awkward silence so I whispered "Tickle fight."

Emma turned to me with a confused look on her face, "What?"

"Tickle fight."

Without waiting for an answer off her, I started tickling her, not really expecting her to start kicking me in the process. After a while, I decided that maybe if I wanted a slight chance of being with Emma, I should stop torturing her. We laid next to each other trying desperately to get our breath back. I looked at her and when she eventually realised, looked right back into my eyes. I could've stared into her eyes all day, just waiting for the perfect moment.

"Guys! Can you please do your soppy stuff somewhere else. Some of us are trying to sleep." Katilyn said to us. Well I say said, she was shouting.

I honestly think something would've happened if Kailyn hadn't woken up. Something like... oh I dont know, a kiss maybe..? I'll just have to find another moment in a different room...

A/N Ooh so we've started to see the real Adam now... ;) What do you think will happen next..? orry for taking so long to upload this week, I went to my brother's football cup final last night so I really couldn't write anything at all. :( But on a better note, I hope you liked the chapter!
