Heechul's POV

“Yes!” I exclaim as the application finally downloads. I click it and all the members gather around me. I locate her signal and we immediately begin to set off. As we all race out, I realise that Ryeowook is frozen to his place. I place a hand on his shoulder and he snaps out of his daze. “Come on Ryeowook, we'll get her back.” I encourage him. Leeteuk drives and I sit next to him, telling which ways to turn.

Suddenly, the signal disappears off the screen. “Heechul, which way now?” Leeteuk asks, looking to me for help.

“I-I dunno. The signals just...gone.” I say. Ryeowook pokes his head through to the front. “What?” He asks, worry in his voice. “Um...I think we have to turn right here.” I tell him, just taking a guess.

“Thinking, won't help. We have to know.” Ryeowook tells me. “Let's just go to the police. They should be able to locate her.” Donghae suggests.

“Yeah, that's the best plan we've had so far.” Leeteuk mumbles, turning the car around and beginning to head for the police station.

“So what exactly happened?” Officer Miller asks. We arrived a few minutes ago and the officer took us through to a room to ask us some questions.

“Her step-dad came after her after he broke out of prison.” I answer first. She jots something down in her notepad and asks us, “Do you have any idea where she could be?” She asks. “She had search on her phone but...we lost the signal.” Ryeowook tells her.

“Where did you reach before the signal left?” She asks. We tell her the exact road we were on before we lost the signal. “We should be able to work out where she is from what you've told us. We'll contact you as soon as we locate her.” She tells us before leaving.

Sam's POV

It's been a few hours since I was taken. I've had no food or drink, like my step-dad said. My throat is parched and my stomach rumbles for food. My phone has been crushed and they still haven't come. Did they see the note? Are they coming to find me? The questions swirl around in my head.

My step-dad walks over to me and drags me to sit up. He holds the blade close to my neck again. He does this every once in a while, tries to scare me. I look him in the eyes – fearless. It usually gets me a cut. I've been cut in my arms, my cheeks and my leg. He cut my leg pretty deep, but it should be fine when I get out of here. If I get out of here.

“You're friends can't save you know. And little do they know, their whole world will burn to the ground, just to have it turn out to be a mirage.” He says in his riddles again. He's been doing that a lot and I haven't the slightest clue of what he's talking about.

“You won't win.” I tell him, not tearing my gaze away from him. He pulls me closer to him so I can smell his foul breath again. “Choose your words carefully.” He warns me before throwing me back down.

I tried to escape before, pulling at the chains with all my strength, but it did nothing and I just lost energy. I can't sleep either. Every time I almost fall asleep some noise goes off like a loud rumble of a generator or a can of something being thrown to one side.

Natasha comes over to me. She talks to me and I tell her about me. “I've seen him doing something.” She tells me. I raise one eyebrow. “What?” I ask her.

“I don't know. He's wandering around the place but I don't know what he's doing.” Natasha answers. I furrow my eyebrows and try to think. “I don't know, but we'll be fine.” I say. My step-dad returns again and she scurries off.
