Chapter 9 - Something I want to tell you

“What is it?” I ask him. He looks away, obviously nervous to tell me. I place a hand on his shoulder as we sit up. “You can tell me.” I say.

He looks at me and I smile at him. He smiles back. “I kinda like you.” He says quietly looking away. I feel my heart stop in my chest. My lips curl into a smile. Ryeowook sees my smile and begins to move closer to me.

I don't move, just let him come closer and closer to me. I begin to feel his breath on my cheek. Before long his lips are on mine. His lips are so soft and this kiss so warm and gentle.

“I knew you were dating!” Somebody shouts from a distance, causing me and Ryeowook to part. Briefly, we smile at each other before turning to see who the voice belongs too.

It's Key. Immediately, I leap up. Key runs to us, smiling. “How long have you been dating?” He asks, sitting on the grass next to Ryeowook. He looks at me and I sit down. “About 1 minute.” Ryeowook says smiling.

“So that was like you just asked her out or something like that?” Key asks, looking back and forth between me and Ryeowook.

“Something like that yeah.” Ryeowook replies.

“Don't tell anybody.” I tell Key, knowing that if word got out, everything would sort of freak. “I won't. Well I have to go, I only came here for a bit of fresh air. See you.” Key says, getting up and leaving.

Ryeowook smiles at me. I smile back. “I don't want anybody knowing, it might be kind of weird.” I tell Ryeowook.

“Well if Leeteuk finds out, he'll freak.” Ryeowook says, laughing a little. I laugh a little too. “We can tell Taylor and Sungmin.” I tell him, knowing that I can trust both of them.

Ryeowook nods before asking, “should we head back to the dorms then?”

“Yeah.” I reply. We walk back, talking along the way. When we're almost at the dorm he asks, “wanna hang out tomorrow?”

“Yeah. If I'm not going out with Lee. But I shouldn't be so yeah.” I answer as we enter through the doors to the smtown building. Before we enter into our room I kiss Ryeowook one more time.

As we enter, Taylor grabs my arm and pulls me into her and Sungmin's room. “I like Sungmin!” She squeals. I stagger back, her squeal almost piercing my ear. “God! Calm down woman, he's gonna hear you and your gonna deafen me!” I yell. She calms down and sits on her bed.

“Yeah well I like Ryeowook and...” I say, trailing off.

“You like Ryeowook!” She shouts.

“Would you quiet down!” I yell at her. She shuts up again before replying, “anyway, and...” She says, gesturing for me to carry on with my previous sentence.

“We sort of kissed.” I say quietly.

“YOU KISSED!” She yells even louder.

“SHUT UP! YOUR GOING TO GET US CAUGHT!” I yell, getting frustrated. She calms again, I shake my head and carry on, “yes we kissed.” I reply.

“OMG! YOU KISS-” She starts to yell but I cover her mouth. “Would you just shut up!” I yell, letting go of her. Taylor smiles a wide smile, “THAT IS SO CUTE!” She yells. I sigh, “if you don't stop yelling I will leave.” I say, raising my eyebrows at her.

“Sorry it's just so...CUTE!” She yells. I sigh again.

“I'm going to talk to somebody that won't yell at me.” I say leaving. “Bye.” Taylor says after me.

“Siwon, hey.” I say sitting down next to him on the sofa and getting my laptop. “Hi. I enjoyed that boat ride we had a few days ago. It was fun.” He replies.
