'You're not going to chicken out, right?'

I groaned, confusing people I passed on the streets.

'Are you ever going to leave me in peace, Loke?'

'Well, I can not just open my own gate anymore - your orders - so I must resort to telepathy.'

'Do not you have a life in the Celestial Spirit world, or wherever you go when you vanish?'

'Oh, that reminds me, I've got a date. Later! '

'How quick to leave me, oh so loyal spirit of mine.'

I feel tired just from talking with him. Did he always do this with Mom? Not that he did talk with Mom, because Mom was not a wizard ... I'm having a harder and harder time convincing myself of this.

I mean, if I believed my friend is Lucy Heartfilia is my mom.

I stopped and looked up. Fairy Tail. It was a pretty big building. Why did a guild hall need two stories? It was a mystery to me. But I supposed I would find out what was up there eventually. I took a deep breath and walked straight into the guild. Before I could get far, however, I bumped into someone, and this time, they landed on top of me. And he was heavy .

I feel like his weight could possibly crush me. I grunted, and was able to open one of my chocolate brown eyes. I did not like the sight before me. The boy from a few days ago grinned at me.

"Hey there, Pinky, Long time no see, eh?" he said like a smart ass.

"I told you to stop calling me Pinky, Droopy Eyes," I reminded. He shrugged.

"I told you to stop calling me Droopy Eyes, Pinky," he said. I blinked.

"Touche."

We are kind of just stared at each other for a few minutes. I cleared my throat awkwardly.

"Are you going to get off of me any time soon?" I asked. He blushed.

"O-Oh yeah," he muttered. He got up and extended his hand to me. I raised an eyebrow at it.

"What?" I inquired. He laughed.

"I am returning the gesture," he replied. It took me a few seconds to understand what he was referring to. I took his hand and he practically lifted me up to the ground in one swing. I squeaked slightly.

"Man, you're all skin and bones, are not you? Where's your muscle?" he teased, poking my arms. I scowled at him, pulling away.

"You're too muscly, if you ask me," I said coolly. Of course, he was not. He was exactly the right amount. But he was right about me. I was malnourished.

"What are you doing in Fairy Tail, anyway?" asked the boy. "You wanted to see if you could bump into me again? It worked."

"No. Why would I be doing that for someone who's name I do not even know?" I retorted. He thought for a moment, then grinned, extending his arm out to me once again.

"Storm. Storm Fullbuster," he introduced. I knew it! He was related to the stripping ice mage!

"Nashi Downheart," I said uncertainly, shaking his hand limply.

"That was pathetic," Storm laughed. I burned red and glowered at him, making him laugh harder.

"I'll have you know I am a force to be reckoned with," I informed. He stopped laughing and cocked an eyebrow at me.

"Oh really? I'm an ice mage." "Think you can top that?" Storm said playfully. I crossed my arms over my flat chest.

"I'm a Celestial Spirit mage," I said matter-of-factly. I heard a gasp. Storm did not seem to notice it, and was confused when I turned it suddenly towards the noise.
