"Can you all please get out of my way," Val pushed through the small crowd unnecessarily lingering near the front entrance of the shuttle, sighing sarcastically. "Don't worry...I'll just stand my ass here and wait for you all to move." She gave everyone a 'dumb stare,' hoping they would get the picture.
A few people turned with squinted eyes, face lined in deep frowns. Val held her purple carryon bag draped over her shoulder and her medium sized violet suitcase in her right hand, waiting for them to move so she could leave this excessively stuffy shuttle. As the people finally shifted out of her way, she smiled cynically at them and then took her few steps out.
Being able to finally view her surrounding for the real first time she huffed in a breath, letting the scent of wildflowers, trees, and any other natured things dance through her nose. Her heart seemed to sink with warmth and internal peace as she felt rooted to the ambiance.
This is a vacation.
She walked up the small incline to the Lodge. Yosemite Lodge at the Falls. That's exactly what it said in the brochure when she looked it up. She grinned excitedly, thrilled for the day.
After having her bags sent to her room, the staff recommended she try out their restaurant and she headed over, eager to put food in her belly. Walking over to the Mountain Room restaurant she stepped in and saw why the name Mountain was placed on the front of this titled restaurant. It really gave off a mountain atmosphere with great natured scenery to match.
Val was escorted a table and immediately ordered herself a cocktail before her ass touched the seat. She pulled out her phone using the dark screen as her tinted mirror, viewing her face, checking for any signs of needing to reapply her mascara. Her heavy seductive eyelids hovered over her pale ashy brown eyes and she admired herself with a smirk. She knew she was beautiful and didn't need anyone telling her that.
A waitress came from behind handing her the cocktail she ordered along with a menu. Val didn't bother looking up. "I'd like an ice tea," she ordered, staring into the menu. "Please don't put any lemon in it. I hate that." The waitress was about to walk off when Val added, "With a straw and a few equate sugar packs."
Val waited patiently for her drink to arrive as she sipped on her cocktail. I needed this.
It had been two years since her last vacation. Starting up her own café had taken a lot of time away from vacationing when she wanted. She lived in Los Angeles and life was really busy there if you actually did something with yourself. Now, here she was, taking a break from her fast pace busy life. Now she was sitting at Mountain Room restaurant in Yosemite National park, having herself a cocktail. What could go wrong with that? What was on the menu besides food? Fun, of course, but a little sex would do her some good, too. Okay, being modest didn't work for her. A lot of sex wouldn't hurt. That was on the top of her menu and she would have sex with a gorgeous, curvy woman before she went home. Maybe two.
She blatantly gazed around observing all the women in the restaurant. No one! Not yet, at least. There were a lot of pretty faces, but none she would want to shack up with. She stared back into her menu, this time putting effort into finding what she wanted to eat. Her eyes gazed down as if she was taking a test and couldn't be sure which answer was right.
When the waitress walked up to her and handed her ice tea, Val finally acknowledged the waitress who she ignored the first time. She had a habit of ignoring people. She could be walking down the street and hear someone call out to her and be making an extra effort to get away before they caught up. Val had friends, but even with her friends, she still lived a private life.
"Find anything you like yet," the young female waitress asked. Her voice was tantalizing, though Val was sure she wasn't purposely trying to sound so sexy. It did make her mouth water and arch a brow.
Val looked toward her starting from the bottom up. She noticed the curves in the young woman's hips up to the slender structure of her small oval abdomen to her nice small but very pleasurable breast. When she finally acknowledged her face her eyes darkened with a heavy desire to brush her fingers across the woman's lips, or down her neck, or over her breast. All three choices were suitable to her. Snapping out of her own trance, she grinned, a little toothier than she tried to. "I think I'll have y"-close to really saying she wanted her personally, she changed up her words along with her tone-"your best steak."
The woman looked dubiously at her then smiled. "How would you like it?"
Raw between your legs. Val did a good job of not voicing her aroused desire. Val's eyes flickered up to the woman's breast; or more like down if you really thought about it. But since she was sitting, it would be more like up. Who cared? She laughed at her own sarcasm.
"What's so funny?" the waitress asked, curious.
Val wasn't aware she laughed out loud and lied. "Forgot how I liked my steak." That was a dump lie. "Make it a medium rare. I like it a little raw," she said huskily. That was said out loud and very much a flirt.
The waitress made a note of that as she stiffened. Val thought she stopped breathing with how her breast stopped heaving with each breath. She kept her gaze low but Val noticed her blanch. "And with it?"
"Surprise me," Val responded her tone staying husky.
The waitress drew in a blank expression then grinned. "I'll be back with your food."
Val watched as the waitress walked away. She couldn't help notice the waitress name planted above her breast. Allira, you are gorgeous.
Val finished her cocktail and when she barely made her way to her ice tea the waitress came back with her food.
The waitress eyed her, curiously, hoping she would like the side orders she provided. Val looked down at her plate expectedly than back up to her. "Thanks. Love loaded mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts."
"Good. It would've sucked if you didn't." The waitress couldn't help but notice the woman's appearance. Val caught her staring, admiring what she was wearing. Val had on black jeggings, with brown knee high boots and a chic dress shirt that curved down below her ass. "Where are you from?"
"LA," Val replied, dipping her fork into the Brussels sprout. "You live here?"
"Yes, all my life."
Val tilted her head up smiling. "Most is nice living here."
The waitress nodded, realizing she was staring too long and smiled shyly taking a step back. Before walking away she spoke. "I'll be back soon if you need anything else."
Val smiled dropping her eyes to the waitress's lips one last time before responding. "Can't wait."
That last part was a total flirt and the waitress blushed skirting quickly around the table out of sight.
Scared her off.
After she finished her meal and drank through her glass of ice tea she waited for the waitress to show up. When she did she handed the waitress her MasterCard then stood up. Val walked to the front of the restaurant meeting the waitress at the front desk. A minute later the waitress handed her card back and smiled wryly. "Thanks for your excellent customer service." Val didn't want to look back to see the woman's expression so she walked out the door, pretty sure the next time she saw her again, the woman would avoid her at all cost.
