Squid And Nicole's Love Story

Chapter 14

The next day, Squid decided to ask people if they would come to his party or not. The people he had invited were Tom (of course), Stampy, Amy, Finnball, Lee, Chache, Sqaishey, Dan, Ash, Snake, James, Martyn, Kyie, Netty, Rosie, Nicole and Jessabelle. Squid called his friends that morning and went to see Nicole and Jessabelle that day. All his friends said they would most definitely come and then he texted Jessabelle to see if they could meet up and she said yes so he went to meet her at the local café.

When he got there, he saw Jessabelle sitting at a table and walked over.

"Hey Jessabelle" Squid greeted

"Oh hey and you can call me Jas you know, like you used to" Jessabelle said

"Ok then um Jas, I was wondering if you would like to come to my 24th birthday party or get together if that's what you want to call it?"

"Yes I would love to, I mean I will be there".

Squid felt a little bit awkward.

"Hey do you want me to buy coffee?"

"Yeah ok and I would like a latte please"

"Sure thing"

"Oh and David, thanks for inviting me" Jas said grabbing Squid's wrist just barely touching his hand.

"Um yeah sure, that's alright" Squid said then started to think 'had he done the right thing by inviting her?'

After Squid had coffee with Jass (going to call her that from now on) he went to see Nicole. He knocked on Nicole's door and she opened it.

"Squid, what a surprise. What are you doing here?" Nicole asked

"What? Can't I come see you whenever I want?" Squid asked cheekily

"Yes you can but seriously, what are you doing here?"

"I came to ask you if you wanted to come to my 24th"

"Squid I would be honoured to come to my boyfriend's birthday"

"Ok so it is settled then. Well, I must be going, see you next week" Squid said giving Nicole a kiss then leaving.
