Epilogue

General POV

Kasalukuyang hinahatid ang mga abo ni K sa huling hantungan. Doon din ito ilalatag sa dagat kng saan itinapon ang mga abo ni Vice.

Everyone is ready except for one....

He had fresh tears flowing down his cheeks

why do fresh tears fall so easily?

they go down as if they are waterfalls.

He couldn't take it so he wore his black aviator sunglasses.. But the tears were stubborn. They continued to fall.... and fall..

"hindi ko kakayanin to.." his voice almost a whisper.

He wiped the tears but new tears fell again in his cheeks. He wiped it again, and again, and again, as new tears fell 

....and fell..

The tears stopped for the blessing of the priest is over. Now, vhong and billy are signalling him to go and lead the farewell but he can't.. He doesn't want to... He can't take it..

He went forward knowing that his spine might break, his lungs might give up, and his heart might crash. 

But what is it to worry?

HE IS ALREADY BROKEN..

He cried again, but much painful this time..

"My angel is gone.." he thought as he scatters the ashes in the sea. JM is also beside him crying.. "wala na ang buko ko.. So ano pa ang dahilan para mabuhay ako?"

Suddenly it rained. Everyone went inside the yatch except for him.

"Dad let's get inside." Jm uttered but he still remained. What a heartbreaking scene it is for him to stay wet with all the ashes in his hands fading away.

"i guess this is my world from now on without you K."

"Dark..."

"dull"

"colorless."

"lifeless."

he paused and formed his hand into fist.

"i will wait for you K.. even if it takes eternity."

5 years later

JM's POV

it has been 5 years since mom passed away. I am 12 now and i can say na binata na ako. Hindi pa rin nakaka move on si dada. He cried everyday.. well not literally, but inside remembering all their sweet memories with mom. Bakit daw bumalik siya para sa kaniya but she didn't do the same. Kung pwede ko lang mabawasan ang sakit na nararamdaman ni dada ginawa ko na. But things have changed.

Nandito kami ngayon sa boracay to celebrate my 12th birthday. I am with tita anne, tito vhong and billy, and the Valerios. Eversince kasi namatay si mommy K dad started to go to the valerios. Siguro dahil mas niyayakap niya na ang pagiging VALERIO. Ano pa ba ang saysay ng pagiging Viceral kung wala na si Mrs. Viceral, diba? nakakalungkot lang... Pero nag eenjoy naman ako sa company ni Tito Von and the rest including lolo and lola.

Dad is staring at the white sand now. Nag iisa na naman siya, as usual. Eversince that day hindi na siya masyadong nagsasalita. Hindi na komedyante, hindi na bubbly. He's a changed person. Napukaw ang pagmumuni muni ko nang bigla akong tinapik ni Kuya vhong.

"uyy!! kamusta naman 'tong birthday boy natin ha?" ginulo niya ang buhok ko..

i got his hand away from my head, "tito Vhong!"

"hala. Hindi na nagpapagulo ng buhok? Binata na siya!" Kuya billy inserted from behind. natawa lang kaming tatlo.

"Pasok tayo sa loob. Madami kang bisita." Tito vhong said and noticed where i was looking...

"pabayaan mo na ang tatay mo.." he said understanding the look on my face. "heart broken lang yan."

Kaya pumasok na ako sa loob at inentertain ang guests ko. Mga classmates ko lang naman. Ron was there too.. but there was a thought i had in mind..

"Hanggang kailan magiging heartbroken si dada?"

vice was staring at the sand nang biglang may lumapit sa kaniya na babae. Hindi niya lang ito pinansin. Busy siya sa pag... ano nga ba ang ginagawa niya? Staring at nothing. Hoping for something that won't happen.. 

All he wants is K... 

Kahit 5 years na..

umaasa pa rin.

Nang bigla itong nagsalita. "hi.."

hindi niya pa rin pinansin.. The girl just kept her feet on the sand. She was wearing a hat and a sunglass. naka bikini but covered with shoal.. She looks sexy.. She has this wavy curls just like K. Nang mapansin niyang hindi tumitingin si Vice, siya na ang nag adjust dito. Binlock niya ang sight ni Vice at nag make face.

"you okay?"

imbes matuwa si Vice nairita lang siya sa babae.

"uhm miss? if i may know, anong kailangan mo?" he said.

"ay suplado?" the girl said at tumawa. Her giggles reminds Vice of someone...

"What do you want?" Vice repeated.

"YOU..." the girl snapped at tumawa ulit. "kidding."

"naniniwala ka sa second chance?" out of the blue nitong tanong.

Sinagot na din ni Vice para na din umalis ito.

"I onced believe in second chances..." vice said softly. "pero ngayon? i don't know.."

"Why?" the girl said. "Don't you believe in happy endings?"

"i do. I used to have this happy ending you are speaking.." Vice said. "pero kinuha siya sa kin eh."

"Well.. a man said to me na someday, we will have our happy ending!" And vice realized na conyo rin pala ang babae. Hinarap niya na ito this time..

"So you have a boyfriend?"

"no. i don't have.." The girl said and smiled. "I am facing him now.."

Vice chuckled.. "I am Val." He offered his hand to the girl

"Ana..." she replied.. "Ana may.." and got Val's hand to shake it.

"It's nice to meet you Ana."

"It's nice to meet you Jaime."

"How did you--"

"secret."

just like what the song says, "say you'll remember me, standing in a nice dress staring at the sunset, babe. Red lips and rosy cheeks, say you'll see me again even if it's just in your WILDEST DREAMS..
