"So, Ghost King, what's your next stupid move that will almost kill you? Bungee jumping off Mount Olympus with not cord and no shadows? Swimming in Poseidon's thrown area with out a scuba tank or air bubble or whatever?" Reyna said, making each question harder than the last.
"No! It was an accident, I was angry and confused and I didn't, I mean, I did, I mean. Oh just lay off Reyna. I didn't mean to okay?"
"Yeah yeah, whatever your excuses. What I really want to know now that Will, Percy and Jason have left it what's up with you. I came back from Camp Jupiter to talk with Annabeth and then I get told that your here fading and with multiple broken bones that aren't healing fast enough with nectar and ambrosia. Then there was the way you looked at Percy an Will. Seriously, what's up?"
Seriously, how much does she want to know? I hate questions, but I guess I can't really not tell her, she trusts me, and that is really rare.
"Well, the other day, well yesterday, I told Percy that I had a crush on him for ages an that I was over him. After that, I went back to Will, and he was there flirting with Lou Ellen. I got really upset and kind of shadow travelled trying to get away from my problems and then you know the rest of the story. But, every guy I like is alway straight and will never like me. I mean, I'm son of the God of the dead, who wants me around them in the first place! I'm scary and don't belong!"
I burst out into tears, something I've done too many time in these past few days, but I could help it. Then I realized, my mental pain had effected the phyla in in a different way, it had replaced it. My ribs were no longer broken and my leg was probably just a sprain now, nothing more.
I sat up and quickly as ever and faced Reyna who was standing there in shock.
"Umm, yeah, well, umm, that's a lot to process, and umm, your better, no more broken bones?"
"Are you kidding! My bones are perfect! But that doesn't matter, my heart is gone! I'm in pain and it's killing me, I ruined the one chance to be Will's friend and he probably will only talk to me when it comes to 'Doctor's orders'. How can I be alright?!?" The tears now burning off my cheeks and causing me to cry even more. I get out of the bed and hug Reyna. The one thing I thought I would never do. After a few seconds I pushed her away.
"Please, leave, before I raise an army of dead to make you leave!" I command not even thinking about what might happen after she left. But I knew one thing was certain, she was going to have a little talk with Percy Jackson.
