Out Of The Blue

Chapter 20

We sat down and went on our phones again. The Jacks come outside and we don't even try to look at them. "Whatcha doin?" Jack Johnson says to me while looking over my shoulder again. "I'm playing 'don't touch the spikes' which is pretty much the only game I play" I say annoyed that I keep dying so much.

"Ok," he said smirking "I challenge you to a duel!" He says. I have nothing else to do, so I accept. Jack sits down next to me and we start playing. Every time I was near a spike, Jack would tickle me and I would bump into it. "Jack stop cheating!" I say while trying to make sure he can't touch me.

"I'm not doing anything!" He says while doing puppy eyes at me. I just roll my eyes and say "Yeah, right!" (But obviously sarcastically). He turns my phone off "Why don't you believe me?" He says blankly. "Because!" I say back "I don't know, it's hard to believe you sometimes..."

He rolls his eyes and goes back to his phone. Wow. That's like, the first time that he rolled his eyes at ME! Lol!!!
"Jack, stop it! You're creeping me out!" I heard Kim yell again. Geez! How many things is he gonna do to her? I go inside to see Kim.... MAKING OUT?!!!!

I thought she still hated him! I quickly leave the room and I run towards Jack Johnson. "Jack!!!!!" I yell at him. He jumps and stands up. "What's wrong?" He said so soothingly. "KIM AND GLINSKY ARE MAKING OUT" I say while in the middle of dying. He froze and stared at me then ran inside. He saw them too and quickly ran out again.

We both just sat there, not knowing what to do or say so we stay silent while staring at the ground...

We stayed like that for a while and I got bored. I went on my phone again and I remember that I was still challenging Jack. "Wanna finish the duel?" I say not knowing what else to do. "Ok!" He says starting to get out of his misery.

Jack started tickling me again ever time I was near the spike, so he won like, a thousand times. I turn my phone off and I look at Jack to realise that he was checking me out... AGAIN

I go inside to get a drink and I look at the couch to see that no one was there. THANK GOODNESS!!!!! I finish and put my cup in the sink, and run upstairs. I don't see Kim or Jack Glinsky anywhere... Well, I don't really want to see them anymore, anyway!

I go to Jack Johnson's room and lie down on his bed. I decide to go back on my phone and I start watching YouTube. The first thing that it showed was Jack and Jack songs. Ummm, I haven't been on YouTube this whole time, and their songs are there???

I find a song that looked pretty interesting and it was called 'Paradise'. I was really surprised at the end of the video because the Jacks said that this song was for me and Kim. I find another song called 'Doing it right' and Jack walks in his room when I'm listening to him rapping.

"So you like my songs?" He said smiling. "Yeah, their pretty cool!" I reply. "And you like my bed too!" He said realising that I was on his bed. "Ummm, yeah..." I said wondering why I was on his bed in the first place.

"It's ok!" He said. He hugged me and I hugged him back. We just stayed there for the whole afternoon, on his bed and talking... (In other words, getting to know each other better!!!)
